Vastu Class at Mulund Center:

Vishva Jyotish Sansthan Charitable Trust conducted Astrology & Vastu Shastra study classes – Mulund Center – Mumbai.

On 18 August 2026, Shri Ketan Rameshchandra Vagadia delivered an extensive discussion at the Mulund Center under the Vastu class on the auspicious and inauspicious yogas obtained from the rays of the Sun.

In Indian Astrology and Vastu Shastra, the daily movement of the Sun holds great significance.

In Indian timekeeping, a day is divided into 8 prahar — 4 for the day + 4 for the night. From sunrise to sunset, 4 prahar are completed.[watches]

If we consider the eastern horizon at sunrise as the starting point of 0°, then sunset on the western horizon occurs at 180°. Dividing it into four parts, each angle comes to 45°.

At midday, the Sun is at its highest point. Therefore, the most important muhurtas have been used from morning until midday. And the tradition is to conclude Vastu work at 135° from the eastern horizon [in the afternoon period].

According to Vastu architecture, the time at which maximum light enters a building has a special impact on the health of the residents living in it, and on the energy and enthusiasm in various activities. For this reason, the discourse emphasized giving greater importance to eastern doors and windows in house construction.

In temples, worship and rituals for deities are scheduled according to prahar calculations, which impart vibrancy to the devotee.

In Muhurta Shastra, auspicious muhurtas are selected based on prahar calculations. Various sanskaras have also been organized according to the maximum utilization of sun rays.[ceremonies]

On Saturday, 08 August 2026, Shri Ketan Rameshchandra Vagadia attempted to explain Saturn cycle in Astrology & "Shani Panoti & Sade sati" Horoscope discussion with reference of Muhurat as per Vastu shastra.
Senior Scholar Professor Shri Jitendrabhai Ramanlal Mistry explained the principles of prediction using the Brihad Jatak, "Numerology / अंकशास्त्र" & Vastu shastra " Vedha Dosha".

At the Malad - Mumbai branch of Vishva Jyotish Sansthan Charitable Trust's Astrology and Vastu classes, on Sunday, 09 August 2026, Senior Teacher Shri Jitendrabhai Ramanlal Mistry conducted an extensive scriptural discourse in the Astrology class on Kundali Ganit [Birth Chart Calculations], Ankashastra [Numerology], and in the Vastu class on "Dwaar Chakra / Mobhchakra".

Shri Ketan Rameshchandra Vagadia presented a discourse on "Bhaum (♂) Dosha" [Mars Defect] in the birth chart, and on "Muntha" transit in Tajik Shastra [Annual Horoscopy]. In the Vastu class, he presented an analysis of the auspicious timings [Muhurtas] for the month of August under Muhurta Shastra.

गुरुपूर्णिमा पर्व के अवसर पर सभी उपस्थित गुणीजनों को गुरुवर्य श्री निरंजनभाई ईश्वरलाल जोशी जी संपादित एवं लिखित पुस्तक "स्वरज्ञान" (गुजराती / हिंदी ) भेंट किया गया।

The Guru Purnima festival was celebrated on Sunday, 26 July 2026 at the Malad Center branch of Vishva Jyotish Sansthan Charitable Trust's Astrology and Vastu classes.

In this festival organized by the student association, in the presence of local students, the following dignitaries celebrated Guru Parva: Lecturer Smt. Bhavnaben Sanjay Mehta, Honorary Senior Administrator Smt. Pratimaben H. Shah, Shri Dilipbhai Natwarlal Jogi, Shri Jitendrabhai Ramanlal Mistri, Shri Anilbhai Laxmichand Savla, Shri Shashibhai Natwarlal Jogi, Shri Tarunbhai J. Dave, Shri Ravindrabhai K. Udeshi, Shri Nikhilbhai H. Bhatt, Shri Deepakbhai Narayan Gohel, Shri Hetalbhai S. Patel, Smt. Jignaben H. Chavda, and other helpers.

All the Acharyas offered their reverence to the Gurus, took a resolve to gain proficiency in scriptural studies, and expressed their desire to receive the blessings of the Gurus for further in-depth study. In this simple Guru Purnima festival, everyone gave relevant speeches and expressed gratitude towards their Gurus.

Shri Ravindrabhai K. Udeshi was welcomed and greeted by Smt. Pratimaben H. Shah. The youngest student across all centers, Ku. Riya Sureshbhai Rupani, was honored by Smt. Bhavnaben Sanjay Mehta. Present scholars and students presented talks on research-oriented subjects.

In the concluding phase of the ceremony, Shri Ketan Rameshchandra Vagadia delivered a brief congratulatory message on the glory of the Guru and concluded with the vote of thanks.
