*Very Poorly Organised Marathon – A Major Disappointment*

What should have been a spirited and memorable experience ended up being one of the most mismanaged events we've attended. The entire marathon lacked basic planning, coordination, and professionalism.

🚫 Parking & Entry: Absolute chaos. No signage, no volunteers guiding participants — it was a mess from the start.

🚫 Bib Distribution: Total confusion. Untrained college students struggled to manage the process, with no oversight or system in place.

🚫 Event Support: Shockingly poor. Volunteers were untrained and uncoordinated, offering little to no support throughout the course.

🚫 Warm-Up Session: Completely unstructured and uninspiring — clearly an afterthought.

🚫 Holding Area: Overcrowded, disorganised, and lacked basic facilities like seating, shade, or water.

🚫 Refreshments: Inadequate in both quantity and quality. Water stations and post-run snacks were poorly stocked and poorly managed.

🚫 Cleanliness: Extremely unhygienic. Trash was everywhere, no dustbins in sight, and no cleaning staff visible. The venue looked neglected.

🚫 Medical Support: Shockingly, no ambulances or medical support were seen on the route — a major safety lapse for any running event.

🚫 Award Distribution: Delayed and disorganised. No communication, no clarity, no excitement — just confusion.

🚫 Timing Updates: Even after 24 hours, official timing has not been shared. For any marathon, that’s a basic expectation.

This wasn’t just a disappointment.. it was a wake-up call.
Participants train hard and come with high hopes. Events like these deserve careful planning, attention to detail, and a sincere commitment to safety and quality.
