🏛️ David Geffen Galleries, LACMA | Los Angeles, USA 🇺🇸
Designed by the Pritzker Prize–winning architect Peter Zumthor, the David Geffen Galleries are the new home of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s permanent collection.
The 900-foot-long elevated building spans Wilshire Boulevard, creating a distinctive architectural presence within Los Angeles. Its design features large glass walls that connect the galleries with the surrounding landscape and natural light.
The new galleries provide approximately 110,000 square feet of exhibition space, allowing LACMA to present artworks from different cultures and eras within a single, continuous exhibition level.
