I will be spreading awareness by giving out simple ideas, where you don’t need lots of money to help others in need. MISSION STATEMENT

Our everyday lives revolve around achieving our daily chores and goals. What if I told you, that you could rewind just one day of your life and help someone else achieve their goal. Ask yourself what you would do different?. Your goals may be as simple as going to

work, achieving targets, buying groceries, etc. But there are people whose daily goal is just to survive into the next day by getting a simple meal for themselves and their families or finding a shelter over their heads to get out of the rain. Hi, I am Pearl Tirandaz and my life’s journey has taught me that not everyone wants big things out of life. People are happy with the smaller things and are extremely grateful. I will also be happy if you join me and share your stories and together let’s try to make our society a happier place. Let’s unite for a better future of the under-privileged. In collaboration with Team Goonj, we’re organizing a Flood Relief Collection Camp on Saturday, 8th August (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM) at 607/C Shree Samarth Building, Khareghat Road, Dadar Parsi Colony Mumbai

We would be grateful for contributions of any of the following items:

* Fresh, sealed dry ration packets
* Ready-to-eat food (sealed, with a good shelf life)
* Utensils
* Sanitary pads
* Solar lights
* Blankets
* Clothes (including new undergarments)
* Basic medicines
* Chlorine tablets
* Bleaching powder
* Mosquito nets
* Raincoats
* Umbrellas
* Tarpaulins
* Toiletries
* School materials

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help families affected by the floods and landslides. Thank you for your support. 🙏

Story 109 - Good Deeds Project

I went to Antop Hill basti for my book distribution.

This thing started a few years ago, just a small step.
Today it has become the identity of GDP in so many ways.

Because for me, education is non-negotiable.
It doesn’t matter which basti, which background, which strata.
Education is every child’s right.

I handed 4 writing books to each child.
4 books. That’s all I can do in that moment.
But for some of them, those 4 books are the first new books they’ve ever held in their hands.

There are thousands of kids in this basti.
And every time, after a point, we fall short.
My heart breaks a little because I wish I could reach every single one.

But my way is simple —
I do as much as I can.
And I keep showing up.

Story 108 Good Deeds Project

Everytime I do a project in Red light area my heart sinks and I am reminded of the harsh reality in which these women live . Hygiene has always been the biggest issue in these areas . This was my 2nd sanitary pads drive in this area and this time I went with my Innerwheel club group to distribute. While I interacted with them I was happy to know their sense of humor was intact and they did majorly support each other .
I have so much respect for these women .

Blanket distribution drive to Senior citizens in Antop hill basti .
Almost 170 blankets were distributed to seniors as when I last went there this demand was given to me .
I have become really attached to these people and I feel like I now know them personally .
I thank this donor who sent money from Dubai for this drive . It's for people like these I can continue what I do and garner so many blessings .

This is A***n a kid who couldn't even sit properly few months back . His mom would accompany him full Day to the school to help him through studies eating and exercise. Today look at him he's listening to instructions using a pencil and sitting by himself .
This is the kind of dedication our school SEC is committed to .
It only makes us feel blessed that we can see this progress and see that everyday is one step closer to making them independent .
