Visit of the Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South to the School of Education for Challenged Children in Kamshet, Maharashtra.
Last month, members of the Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South embarked on a heartwarming journey to the School of Education for Challenged Children in Kamshet. This visit was not just a routine outing; it was a meaningful opportunity to connect, support, and uplift the lives of children with special needs.
As the Rotarians arrived at the school, they were greeted with warm smiles and cheerful waves from the students and staff. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy. The school, dedicated to providing quality education and care for children with various challenges, has become a beacon of hope for many underprivileged families in the region.
The day began with an interactive session where Rotarians engaged with the teachers and students. Later the students also performed a cultural dance. Our Members were touched by the resilience and spirit of the children, who, despite their challenges, radiated happiness and positivity.
During the visit, our members also took the opportunity to learn more about the schoolโs initiatives and the unique programs designed to cater to the diverse needs of the students. The dedicated teachers and staff shared their experiences and the impact that the support from organizations like Rotary has had on the schoolโs development.
In a heartfelt gesture, the Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South presented the school a donation to support education of all 37 resident children. The smiles on the childrenโs faces were a testament to the difference that such contributions can make in their lives. Thanks to all the members and donors who came together for this contribution.
