Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South, from Rotary International District 3141, is humbled to provide support for a pediatric cardiac surgery case at the BJ Wadia Hospital, Mumbai. We received a request for a one-year-old child from one of the interior villages of Madhya Pradesh in India. The Child was diagnosed with a hole in his heart after a 2D Echo was performed at a local hospital a few months ago. His father had been trying to find a hospital in Raipur for the surgery, but was unable to secure a schedule. Last month, they approached Wadia Hospital for an appointment at the pediatric cardiac unit. Hospital recommended an immediate surgery. The surgery was successfully performed on January 2nd, and the child was kept in the critical intensive care unit for the next two days. Our Member Sankaranarayan R had the opportunity to visit the child and his parents, who expressed their gratitude for the support they received from Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South. Our sincere thanks to all the donors and members for their guidance and support in this endeavour to save a childโ€™s life.
