Our Bharat Utthan Sangh team at Dharavi, led by our dedicated volunteer leader, Ms. Rukhsaar Khan, along with other passionate members of the NGO, proudly celebrated the 79th year of India’s Independence at one of Mumbai’s most remarkable and vibrant locations. The event was filled with patriotism, joy, and community spirit. As part of the celebration, children of Dharavi were provided with study materials to support their daily learning, encouraging them to embrace education and understand the true values of life. We were privileged to welcome our esteemed Guest of Honour, Rohit Shetty Sir, whose presence added great enthusiasm and pride to the celebration. On this Independence Day, let us remember that freedom is not just a gift we inherited—it is a responsibility we carry.

Our nation’s progress depends not only on the vision of politicians, but also on the dedication of citizens like passengers of BUS, who choose to serve selflessly.

As a group, we have pledged to stand for truth, compassion, and action. Every small effort we make—helping someone in need, protecting our environment, empowering the underprivileged, exposing the corruption and more important standing for each other—adds another brick to the strong foundation of a better India.
