✨ From Campus to Creation | Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators

FICCI FLO Mumbai is delighted to strengthen the bridge between academia, industry and entrepreneurship with the inauguration of the Pre-Incubation Centre at UMIT, SNDT Women’s University, inaugurated by Seema Saroj, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Mumbai.

The Centre marks an important step towards creating an ecosystem where students can explore ideas, innovate, develop an entrepreneurial mindset and take their first steps towards building future-ready ventures.

The inauguration brought together distinguished leaders from academia, entrepreneurship and the creative ecosystem:

• Neelam Phadnis – Dean, Institute Strategy & Development, Terna Engineering College, Navi Mumbai
• Sridevi Shetty – Founder & Academia, Kausmedia Entertainment & K Startup School & Incubation Centre

Joined by the college administration, faculty and students, the occasion highlighted the importance of giving young innovators access to mentorship, industry connections, entrepreneurial exposure and opportunities to transform ideas into meaningful ventures.

When creativity meets opportunity, design becomes a tool for empowerment.

FICCI FLO Mumbai, in collaboration with Le Mark Institute, hosted Design for Change: Empowering Communities Through Creativity, bringing the WUD Design Course to SHG women from Enrich Life Foundation.

Through practical learning in colour, design techniques, aesthetics and product presentation, the course will help women enhance their creations, make them more market-ready and open new livelihood opportunities.

Led by Seema Saroj, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Mumbai, with special appreciation to Monisha Gidwani, Joint Executive Secretary, for her efforts in bringing this initiative together.
