PCSI (the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India) has been at the forefront of advancing paediatric cardiology since 1999 - championing research, education, advocacy, and ensuring equitable care for children with heart disease across the country. 🌍❤️

This year at PCSI, we’re bringing Pulmonary Hypertension into focus. The PH space in India is evolving rapidly, not only in terms of scientific breakthroughs and clinical care, but also in the way patient experiences and stories are shaping the future of treatment. This luncheon symposium is designed to be a place where doctors, patients, and caregivers can come together to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and look forward to better care. 🏥

👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ To all the doctors and healthcare professionals: we look forward to connecting with you at this session, exchanging insights, and learning from each other’s experiences.

👥 For patients in Mumbai: we warmly invite you to be part of this important conversation. Make sure you register by DMing at the earliest as there are limited seats available! ✉️ Seat confirmation and registration via DM is COMPULSORY!
You’re welcome to come along with one caregiver. Complimentary lunch will be provided.

So let’s come together on 20th September to advance care, highlight patient voices, and build a stronger community around Pulmonary Hypertension. 💜

Let’s Talk About It: Sexual Health in Men with PH 💙

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is doing a crucial research study to understand how pulmonary hypertension (PH) affects men’s sexual experiences. We believe open conversations are vital for improving quality of life. We have already spoken to a few men and they have given us remarkable insights into their experiences. We looking for a few more participants which will help in understanding and better support systems for your future care.

This study, led by Dhruvi N. Shah under the guidance of Dr. Sebastian P., is ethically approved and registered. We’re aiming to understand the attitudes and perspectives of men with PH, helping professionals provide better support.

Are you eligible? If you’re a biological male (25-50) in India, living with PH, in a relationship (3+ months), and meet the other criteria listed below, we want to hear from you!

💪 Living with PH (any cause/severity)
❤️ In a romantic relationship (3+ months)
💍 Not divorced
🇮🇳 Residing in India
🧠 No recent psychiatric conditions/treatment
🏥 No recent serious health events

Why participate? Your insights can shape better support for men with PH. Your voice matters! 🗣️
