We had a wonderful trip to Chh. Sambhajinagar from 16th to 19th August, 2025.
With assistance from you all, RCMP was able to complete a series of 12 wonderful medical and non-medical events, under the umbrella of Project National Integration.
This project, or rather a cluster of projects, were a unique feature of this rotary year.
We executed the following projects:
1.Refrigerator donation to the Army's Agnibaaz Primary School.
2.A Mega Medical Camp with super- speciality doctors in attendance.
3.A Blood Collection Drive.
4.Distribution of varied Multivitamin Supplements, Analgesics, Antipyretics, Homoeopathic Medicines as per clinical advice, all sponsored by kind donors.
5.A Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session for the ladies of the Defence Service families.
6.Sparsh - Good Touch and Bad Touch Sessions for pre-primary students.
7.Celebration of Raksha Bandhan with the Army Bravehearts.
8.Conveying messages of gratitude, in the form of hand-made greetings cards, made by School Students from Mumbai. These were handed over to the Army Jawans and Officers.
9.Donation of notebooks, compass boxes, and stationary, to Gurukul School near Ghrishneshwar Temple, as well as to the Agnibaaz School.
10.Off-site Fellowship for RCMPIANS was an added advantage.
11.Public Image Enhancement by acknowledgement of RCMP in regional newspapers by local doctors.
12.Supporting the WAR VETERANS CONCLAVE conducted by the Regiment on 24th August 2025 wherein the veterans were given redressal and resolutions for grievances, pending compensation, insurance and pension benefits etc.
The entire RCMP team which participated in the Chh. Sambhaji Nagar projects has jointly contributed towards this conclave.
These 12 projects were done with gracious contribution and team efforts by our own RCMP members, Rotary Spouses, Rotary Family Members, Local Doctors, our Supportive Sponsors and Donors, and of course the Army Bravehearts who opened their doors to us.
A Big Thank You to all who were involved in this mega event, and also our 25 members who could work together to make this a success. Special appreciation for PNI Director Sundeep, Medical Director Monika, Non-Medical Director Avinaash and Rtn Atul Karkhanis for making immaculate arrangements and time management and to President Hemant for overseeing the entire program.
Thank you once again.
