Writing to Honourable Chief justice of High court. To stop the illegal slaughter of stray cows and calf in Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban. Requesting to take Suo moto on my above complaint.

In my RTI I asked for the audit of stray cows and calf . The MCGM just again proved that they don't have exact number of stray cows and calf in the letter they sent me today .

My question is are they getting slaughtered illegally by meat mafias?

All Mumbaikars are experiencing the irresponsible functioning of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
Today I experienced,,,as well .

After I filed an RTI to MCGM to ask for an Audit of stray cows and calf in Mumbai City , the MCGM pushed the letter to Animal husbandry.

Commissioner Dr. Shailesh Pethe, Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Maharashtra and Municipal Officer Dr. Yogesh Agarkar directed in letter not to waste the applicant's ( Madhura Tawde) time again.
Since it's the responsibility of MCGM to provide the information.

The incompetence of MCGM continues.....

Under RTI act I filed an application to ask for an audit of how much percent of stray cows and calf are roaming on streets of Mumbai and what the MCGM is doing about it , even enquired about the lumpy skin effected cows in Mumbai . But as usual the incompetence of BMC shows by sending my application from one officer to another . Shockingly they don't have a relevant answer for it . They Just know how to dodge the ball .

I Recieved a letter from PMO office and Ministry of environment forest and climate change.

Immediate action taken by PMO ( prime minister office) , regarding the destruction of mangroves near coastal areas in Mumbai , the issue which I raised in NGT , National green tribunal regarding this matter.

Kudos to Government of India for considering my issue and for taking action and saving mangroves in our Mumbai City .

Discussed issue related to Mangroves and violation of CRZ laws are Wadala to Mahul CST freeway in Mumbai city .
Even discussed my on going case which is happening in Delhi National Green Tribunal regarding this matter.

Fogging is consistently conducted at Aarey cow sheds .
After I filed a complaint dated 13/9/2022 regarding lumpy skin disease happening in Mumbai city around cattles ( cows) , Animal husbandry department is taking actions by providing vaccination band fogging at cow sheds , gaushala in Mumbai city . Kudos to them 👍👏

Kudos to the State government and Animal Husbandry department who took necessary action on the surge of Lumpy skin disease . I thank the animal husbandry department for providing immediate vaccination to the cows who are suffering from the lumpy skin disease .

Thankyou Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi ji for considering this issue .

*Lumpy skin disease *is recently found in our cattle( Cows) in Mumbai city . The outbreak is spreading all over Maharashtra .
Immediate action by the authorities should be taken so that the milk which is extracted by such affected cows should not be consumed by people . And even not sold to the public .
