We are super excited to be back with our Annual Mango Donation Drive as our May Campaign! 🥭✨🧡

Date: Sunday, 17th May 2026
Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Pushpa Narsee Park, Juhu
What to bring- mangoes & smiles 🥭😁

Summer in India is incomplete without mangoes - but for many families living in underprivileged communities, even this simple seasonal joy remains out of reach.

This May, Giving Tree is back with one of our most loved initiatives — our Annual Mango Donation Drive at Pushpa Narsee Park, Juhu. Every year, we look forward to bringing smiles to children and families by distributing fresh, delicious mangoes during peak summer.

For the kids of Nehru Nagar, this isn’t just fruit distribution — it is a celebration. A small moment of happiness. A reminder that they are seen, remembered, and cared for.
Would you be joining us? 🧡❤️💛💚

This April, as our Campaign 60, we supported an incredible human- Mrs Wilma Dsouza - who cooks, feeds and cares for 121 street dogs and 22 cats every single day across Versova, Yari Road and surrounding areas.

We visited the feeding points ourselves and witnessed the purest form of love — wagging tails, grateful eyes, and a kindness that speaks louder than words. 🐶✨❤️

These dogs don’t ask for much… just food, safety, and a little compassion.
So a heartfelt thank you to all our donors who contributed & our little volunteers who came to feed these furry babies, we were able to be a part of their everyday survival.
Giving Tree also paid off the vet doctor’s all ongoing bills and a foster home where abandoned pups were given home & care- their outstanding amount too. - total 121140 Rs. We truly applaud the amazing Work this one woman army is doing and wish more people join her. We are sharing her no with her consent, incase anyone wishes to support her noble ongoing work - +91 98206 80063 🙏💛🐾

This April, Giving Tree is taking up its 60th campaign to support an extraordinary individual-led initiative that has quietly become a lifeline for hundreds of voiceless animals in Mumbai.

For the past 6 years, this compassionate feeder and rescuer- 58 yr old Wilma Dsilva, has been consistently feeding and caring for 121 street dogs and 22 cats every single day — across areas ranging from Yari Road to Versova, including nearby lanes, gardens, and residential zones.

With no formal organisation or institutional funding, this work has been carried purely by personal effort, faith, and the support of a few kind-hearted individuals.

🌿 Why We Need Your Support

This campaign does not have a fixed fundraising target because the needs are ongoing, unpredictable & she is already in debts with the foster homes & vets. The funds gathered will go towards clearing outstanding and current medical bills and April month’s food requirement for Mrs Wilma.

Through Campaign 60, Giving Tree aims to support this noble lady so that these animals continue to receive the care they deserve — without interruptions.

Every donation, no matter how small, directly helps feed, heal, and protect animals who cannot speak for themselves ❤️🙏
We also encourage you to join us on 25 April Saturday evening 7:30 pm- outside chote miya, yaari road, when we are going to meet these animals and feed them along with Mrs Wilma and share her compassion towards them! ❤️🙏

We are grateful to share that Giving Tree NGO has successfully donated Rs 1,80,974 to support Mr. Ambish Kumar’s life-saving medical treatment.

Ambish Kumar (30) underwent a major stomach surgery (ileal perforation), and due to serious post-surgery complications, his condition became life-threatening.

In a time of immense uncertainty, our donors stepped forward with kindness, empathy, and generosity.

🙏 To every single person who contributed to this cause — thank you.
Your support ensured that Ambish could continue receiving critical medical care without interruption. He is on his way to recovery and his family has taken him to his hometown Lucknow for further care and rest. But he has made it and doctors are hopeful in another 5 months he should be completely recovered! ❤️🙏🏻

This month, The Giving Tree is raising support for Mr. Ambish Kumar (30), who is currently battling for his life after undergoing a major abdominal surgery.

Ambish recently underwent an emergency surgery for ileal perforation at Cooper Hospital. Unfortunately, within a few days of the procedure, his health deteriorated due to complications in the surgical stitching. His condition quickly became life-threatening, and he had to be shifted for further urgent treatment under Dr. Tushar Shah at Advanced Hospital, Irla.

While the family initially prepared for medical expenses of around ₹50k, the complications and extended hospitalisation have significantly increased the cost of treatment. As of now, after nearly two weeks of intensive medical care, the total hospital bill is expected to reach approximately ₹4 lakh.

Ambish comes from an extremely modest background, and his family is struggling to manage these sudden and overwhelming medical expenses. Despite the difficult circumstances, his condition has shown around 20% improvement, and he continues to fight bravely.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, can make a meaningful difference in helping save a life ❤️‍🩹

In the month of February, Giving Tree, in association with Alliance Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., came together to support Mr. Kaushik Dinesh Joshi (41) from Nalasopara, who is currently battling blood cancer and undergoing chemotherapy along with supportive treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Facing a serious medical condition, Mr. Joshi required financial assistance to continue his treatment and manage the mounting medical expenses. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Giving Tree initiated a campaign to raise ₹1,50,000 to support his ongoing care.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alliance Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. for funding this initiative ensuring that Mr. Joshi could continue receiving the treatment needed; bringing hope and relief to him when he needed it the most. ❤️

For the fifth time, The Giving Tree community came together to support Mr. Amod Jha in his ongoing battle against cancer. Mr. Jha continues to undergo treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, and as part of our February campaign, we aimed to raise ₹20,000 to assist with his chemotherapy and medical expenses.

As we step into a new year, The Giving Tree began January 2026 with a cause rooted in compassion, responsibility, and hope. This month, our focus was on supporting the children of Bal Kelavani Mandir, Bagasara (Gujarat)—a residential institution that provides shelter, education, and care to underprivileged children.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Everest Charitable Trust for generously supporting this campaign by funding the entire 454608 Rs. 🙏🏻 This successfully contributed towards the school’s essential annual requirements, helping sustain the daily lives and education of children who depend on this institution for a better future ❤️

We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors for contributing to this cause. We are carry forwarding the donations raised to our Feb month :) Your kindness has directly impacted the lives of many children and reinforced our belief that collective compassion can create lasting change ❤️

As we step into the new year, The Giving Tree began January 2026 by reaffirming a core belief — that education, care, and dignity form the foundation of a child’s future.

This month, we extended our support to Bal Kelavani Mandir, Bagasara (Dist. Amreli, Gujarat) — an institution that shelters and educates children from economically and socially vulnerable backgrounds, including children who are orphaned or come from extremely challenging circumstances.

The school currently supports 30 resident children, providing them not only with education but also with food, medical care, uniforms, and a safe environment to grow. With no large grants or assured funding, institutions like these rely heavily on community support to sustain everyday operations.

Through this campaign, Giving Tree helped contribute towards the annual operational and educational expenses amounting to ₹4,54,608, covering critical needs such as:
- Daily food and nutrition
- Clothing and uniforms
- Stationery and educational materials
- Medical treatment and healthcare expenses
- Staff and caretaker support
- Basic infrastructure and utilities

Your contribution can ensure that the children continue their schooling without disruption, receive proper care, and focus on learning in a secure and nurturing environment. What better way than this to start our year ❤️
