Akshaya Chaitanya Akshaya Chaitanya is an NGO in Mumbai, an initiative of HKM Charitable Foundation with the objective to eradicate hunger in a sustainable and scalable way.

Vision: To open up a world of opportunities for every vulnerable by ensuring food security. Mission: To provide food to one lakh beneficiaries everyday across different vulnerable situations in Mumbai by 2025. Currently, we are implementing 2 programmes:
- We provide free, nutritious meals to family members of patients from marginalised communities at public hospitals in Mumbai through our Hospita

l Feeding Programme. We are implementing this programme in partnership with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and Government of Maharashtra. We serve daily lunch at St. George Hospital, Cama & Albless Hospital, Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital, BYL Nair Hospital, and Cooper Hospital.
- We provide nutritious meals to migrant school going children through our School Meal Programme. We are implementing this programme in partnership with a child education NGO. Impact created so far: We have served a cumulative of 1,64,616 meals. Each day, we serve nutritious meals to 1,920 beneficiaries across 5 government hospitals, and 3 School on Wheels. About HKM Charitable Foundation: It was founded in May 2013 with the aim to eliminate hunger among the underprivileged sections of the society. Like Akshaya Chaitanya, it has undertaken charitable feeding initiatives in different parts of the country, the most prominent one being in Hyderabad.
