On this sacred night of Mahashivratri, we bow to Mahadev, the eternal protector — the one who is called Pashupati, the Lord of all beings.
Shiva does not sit in palaces. He sits with animals.
He adorns a serpent, protects Nandi, and embraces every living soul without discrimination.
If we truly pray to Him tonight, let our devotion not stop at diyas and mantras.
Let it reflect in how we treat the voiceless around us — the indie dog on the street, the mother cat searching for food, the injured bird waiting for help.
Compassion is the highest form of worship.
Kindness to animals is the purest offering to Mahadev.
This Shivratri, let us promise to protect, not harm.
To feed, not chase away.
To care, not ignore.
