The Make-A-Wish Foundation International was founded in 1980. Since its humble beginnings, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching thousands of children around the world. The Indian affiliate was established in 1995, since then we've been the largest & only wish-granting organization in India granting wishes of children irrespective of their socioeconomic status, caste, race or religion. For Aman and Ajay, becoming Army men had always been a dream. 🇮🇳

For one special day, they got to step into that world, from being welcomed at 39 GTC Cantonment to meeting the officers and taking aim at the firing range.

Seeing the two of them experience something they had looked forward to was a moment to remember. 💙

Priyanshu doesn’t just dream about becoming a chef. He’s already practising for it. 💙
At home, he loves experimenting with whatever is available and spends hours watching YouTube to learn new recipes.
So getting into the kitchen at Fairmont was a pretty big deal for our little chef. From making food for the team to learning what CHEF stands for, he made the most of every moment.

Thank you to Chef Mihir Kane and the entire Fairmont culinary team for giving Priyanshu a chance to step into the world he dreams of.

We have a feeling this is only the beginning for Chef Priyanshu. 👨‍🍳

For Priyanshu, becoming a chef for a day was a dream come true. 👨‍🍳💙

From putting on his very own chef’s coat to stepping into the kitchen at Fairmont, he was welcomed like one of the team.
And then came a surprise he wasn’t expecting. The chef invited Priyanshu to come back every month and practise in their kitchen.
Our little chef has only just begun. 👨‍🍳💙

A special thank you to Chef Mihir Kane and the entire culinary team at Fairmont for welcoming Priyanshu so warmly and making his wish even more special.

This Independence Day, six children celebrated freedom in the best way possible: on their first ride. 🚲😁

A cancer survivor himself, John Müller cycled 8,000 km from Berlin to India to raise awareness and funds for young cancer patients. As part of his journey, he made a special trip to Mumbai to help grant six cycle wishes.

Together, we watched the children take their first rides, with John there to cheer them on.

Thank you, John, for the incredible journey you’re on, and for making space in it for these children and their wishes. 🚲💙

For 10-year-old Zeeshan, living with congenital heart disease, baking has always been a source of joy. He loves trying new recipes, making cakes, and sharing them with his family. 💙

His wish was simple: an oven of his own.

We took him behind the scenes at a bakery, where he got to see how his favourite cakes are made, before giving him an oven to continue baking at home.

One simple wish, made a little more special. And many more cakes to come. 🧁💙
