The Make-A-Wish Foundation International was founded in 1980. Since its humble beginnings, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching thousands of children around the world. The Indian affiliate was established in 1995, since then we've been the largest & only wish-granting organization in India granting wishes of children irrespective of their socioeconomic status, caste

Aarav travelled from Muscat to Mumbai for treatment, but through it all, one thing never changed: his love for Akshay Kumar.
He’d watched the films, admired the characters, and dreamed of meeting the action hero he looked up to for years.

So when Aarav told us his wish, we knew exactly who we had to call. 💙

The IPL has a beautiful way of bringing people together.

For young Viraj, summer evenings meant catching the cricket whenever he could, even on difficult days.🏏
So when he told us his biggest wish was to watch an IPL match live, we knew we had to make it happen.

A few weeks ago, Viraj walked into Wankhede Stadium expecting to stay for just an over or two. He ended up cheering till the very last ball, with a smile that never left his face.

A heartfelt thank you to for helping coordinate the arrangements, and to our Mumbai volunteer Rita Ma’am for helping make this wish come true. 💙

You might remember Mahi from last year, when her wish to attend a Prateek Kuhad concert was granted.

Now, she’s back, reading an excerpt from her story on our commemorative coffee table book ‘Where Wishes Live’ and speaking about something so many wish children feel but struggle to put into words, how a wish can become a bridge to something beyond hospital walls.

A reminder that sometimes, a wish gives children more than just a moment to look forward to.

For 30 years, Make-A-Wish India has been bringing hope and joy to children and families when they needed it most.

And somehow, our 1,00,000th wish felt like the perfect reflection of that spirit. Sai wished to be a fairy princess, and as her very first act, she helped grant another child’s wish for a guitar. 💙

On a day that marked 30 years of Make-A-Wish India and our 1,00,000th wish, it felt special to share these moments with .

From unveiling Where Wishes Live to helping bring Sai’s wish of becoming a fairy princess to life, Shriya’s presence and conversations with our guests brought so much warmth to an evening already filled with joy. We’re so glad she could be a part of it.
