On 80th Birthday of Devendra Desai.
I’m Founder Mg. Trustee of Children Toy Foundation on 08/05/2026 on my 80th birthday’s story I would like to share with my all Facebook friends and well-wishers.
We inaugurated our 485th library of Mind & Intellectual games with at First Light Social Foundation at Jogeshwari with Ms. Vandana Sonawane our Co-Ordinator
Before that our volunteers trained their staff and some children in games : craft and other fun activities we also gave the carrom badminton, skating besides 83 games & 27 books. The organization server’s 600+ children but had no play material. On getting this facility they were very happy & equally we too. The games will be used in Adivasi padas.
Hareshbhai Gala - Kirtibhai Shah - Jayana Sharma from Meet India Foundation were present who are our associate & suggested to set up library for these children. Ms. Vandana talked about initiative of this library & Kirtibhai Shah gave inspiring speech. Birthday cake was cut for me & Annu a student of First Light Social Foundation at Jogeshwari then everybody was served snacks.
Besides in the summer camp at Kanjurmarg run by Children Toy Foundation. Games were conducted.
A film ‘’Chiller Party’’ was shown. Children were served cake and snacks. Children joyfully danced celebrating my birthday. 3 girls presented pink roses for me. Our staff also worn pink dresses. The staff also made a reel on me & my mission.

🎓 Mathematics Teaching Through Play | Teacher Training Workshop 🎲
On 19 December 2025, Children Toy Foundation had the privilege of conducting a Mathematics Game-Based Training Session for teachers at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanjurmarg, as part of a day offline training workshop for PRTs & HMs organized at ZIET Mumbai on the theme:
“Mathematics Teaching Strategies: Building Conceptual Understanding.”
Total of 38 teachers actively participated in this hands-on training session.
The session began with 10 CTF staff who introduced the vision and work of Children Toy Foundation.
All teachers were divided into groups, and each group was guided by one dedicated CTF staff member.
Our 10-member team facilitated learning through interactive math-based indoor and outdoor games.
Indoor Games Used:
• Little Genius
• Quick-6
• Lalach Buri Bala
• Racko
• Malamaal
These games help children understand addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, number sequencing, improve tables learning, and enhance quick thinking.
Outdoor Games:
• 1 to 2 Clap
• Jai Hind
These activities improve listening skills, concentration, physical movement, and overall engagement.
The session concluded with a feedback interaction, where teachers shared positive responses and appreciated the play-based learning approach.
At Children Toy Foundation, we believe learning becomes meaningful when play leads the way.

Mr. Thomas with his 9 students visited our office today.
Every time he comes with new students, so we get lot off new German youngsters as our new young friends.
We played with them three games viz.
1) LBW
2) Stacko
3) Quick 6
Also some male students tried their hands on Carrom, Indian Finger billiards. Also they had fun making a Bat, making tik tik sound. All had a very great playing time games, which they had not played.
Mr. Thomas learnt a new game, which he had not played in his earlier visits. Sorry Mr. Thomas because of shortage of time, we could not introduce to you games that are more new.

Swadeshi Games for Underprivileged Children
We are proud to share that Children Toy Foundation (CTF) and our visionary founder Shri Devendra Desai have been featured in today’s Janmabhoomi newspaper for our mission of bringing Swadeshi (Made in India) educational games to children across the country — right inside our Mobile Toy Libraries!
Through innovative play, creative learning, and Indian-made games, we aim to nurture curiosity, imagination, and joy among children from underserved communities.
From Mumbai to remote villages, our Mobile Toy Vans continue spreading the power of Play with Purpose! ❤️

🌟 Play with Purpose at Anand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Palghar 🌟
On 1st October 2025, the Children Toy Foundation (CTF) had the privilege of hosting a unique Play Programme for the staff and delegates of Anand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Palghar. The session, led by Ms. Vandana Sonwane and our dedicated team, beautifully combined fun and learning, following the auspicious Shri Satyanarayan Pooja.
🎲 Through engaging games such as:
• LBW (Strategy Game)
• Napoleon Cards (Memory Game)
• Balloon Blasting (Action Game)
• 20 Songs Housie
participants discovered how play fosters connection, creativity, and positive change.
✨ CTF’s mission is to build Mind & Fun Game Community Libraries in villages, reinforcing that play is not only for children but also a powerful tool to strengthen communities.
We are deeply grateful to Mrs. Aarti Vora, Director of Anand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., for her appreciation and invitation to extend our efforts by surveying three Zilla Parishad schools near Palghar for establishing Toy Game Libraries. The children and school authorities also enjoyed our team’s delightful puppetry and song performances.
🙏 A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Prasad Bhavlekar, Manager (Mumbai Office), Anand Engineers Pvt. Ltd., for his warm support and encouragement.
To conclude the programme and celebrate Navratri, the CTF team visited Mahalaxmi Devi Temple, Dahanu, returning on 2nd October (Dussehra) with blessings and renewed energy to continue our mission.

Established on 2nd October 1982, Children Toy Foundation completed 43 years of its marathon service for children right to play honoring UNO’s article 31.
It was triple celebration 1) Foundation Day 2) Daan Utsav & 3) incidentally birthday of our coordinator Harish Pichurle.

How we celebrated?
1) Our founder Mg. Trustee Mr. Devendra Desai donated Rs. 1 lac. starting some skill training programme like Chess training, Music training & Yoga for municipal schoolchildren.
2) Through Mrs. Asha Bhatia confirmed a donation of a small mind and educational game library at Bora Bazar Public school.
3) Distributed at the hands of Harish Pichurle distributed 43 puzzles to 43 children at Parshuram Nagar Chawl, Kalachowki.
4) Management also decided to give Rs. 500/- to staff at Mumbai, Chennai, Faridabad, Uttar Pradesh in appreciation of continued dedicated service & in return gesture staff donated Rs. 100 each to organization for buying games for a library.

🌟 Interactive Play & Awareness Session at BSE Community Hall 🌟
On 11th September 2025, the Children Toy Foundation was invited by GuideStar India to conduct an engaging and interactive session at the BSE Community Hall. We were invited for raising awareness, fostering creativity, and engaging participants through play with purpose.
✨ Activities conducted included:
🎲 Little Genius Game – A fun math-based activity sparking logical thinking and problem-solving across all ages.
🎶 Song Housie – With lyrics on screen, each revealed token led to participants singing the corresponding song, making learning joyful.
🧠 Logical G.K. Q&A – An interactive round of thought-provoking general knowledge questions to boost curiosity and awareness.
The session was filled with learning, laughter, and active participation, reinforcing our belief that play is the best way to learn and connect. 💡❤️

🎉 A Day of Joy, Learning & Togetherness! 🧸✨
On 13th September 2025, The Children Toy Foundation had the privilege of conducting a Play Programme at Vasant Galaxy, Bangur Nagar, Goregaon, in collaboration with our wonderful partners VND Wealth Pvt Ltd.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement, and curiosity as children came together to explore, play, and learn through specially curated games and activities. 🌟
Some of the highlights of the day included:
🎲 I Drop – building focus and fun through balance.
🧩 Stacko – strategical math game.
Jay Hind (Direction games ) – instilling love for the nation in a playful way.
🐸 Talking Frog (Craft) – nurturing creativity and imagination
🧠 Little Genius – sparking logical thinking and problem-solving math game for all ages
🏏 LBW (Cricket Card Game) – cricket with a twist of learning to manipulation.
It was heartwarming to see children not only enjoy themselves but also pick up important values and life skills through these engaging activities. This is what is all about – making playtime meaningful while ensuring every child gets a chance to laugh, learn, and shine. 🌈💫
