The Outreach and Development Department of Bombay YMCA is organizing a special summer camp for underprivileged children from the local communities of Kamatipura, Worli, and Prabhadevi slums. This initiative aims to provide these children with engaging activities during their vacation, as many of them lack educational opportunities and guidance for extracurricular pursuits.
The summer camp, running for one week, offers a variety of interactive sessions, including games, arts and crafts, drawing and painting, movie screenings, storytelling, and moral education. These activities are designed to foster creativity, social interaction, and personal development.
YMCA is conducting the sessions across three centers, catering to approximately 120 children. Participation in the camp is entirely free of charge, and YMCA is providing all necessary materials and snacks to ensure a fulfilling experience for every child.
Through this program, Bombay YMCA hopes to create a positive impact in the lives of these children, offering them a safe and stimulating environment to learn, play, and grow.
