As Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently highlighted, expanding solar-powered irrigation can strengthen rural India and support a cleaner, more self-reliant future for agriculture.

Across 1,003 villages, 3,797 solar pumps are helping farmers access reliable irrigation while supporting sustainable farming practices and stronger rural livelihoods.

The spirit of natural farming came alive through people choosing sustainability as a way of life 🌾

Hosted in Wardha by the Kamalnayan Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation, Dhanya Mahotsav brought together natural farmers, agro-entrepreneurs and changemakers to showcase chemical-free produce grown in harmony with nature. The festival celebrated conscious farming, grassroots entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture.

Among the many inspiring voices was a couple who have turned natural farming into their everyday way of life. Their journey reflects self-reliance, mindful living and a deep connection with the land, inspiring others to embrace a healthier future.

Aligned with the vision of sustainable agriculture and reduced dependence on chemical fertilizers, the successful 7th edition of Dhanya Mahotsav continues to strengthen the movement towards a healthier and more self-reliant India.
