Surface Rainwater Recharge Structures (SRRWS) help naturally replenish groundwater by collecting and filtering rainwater through layers of sand and gravel. This simple yet effective approach supports long-term water sustainability for farming and local communities.

With 410 structures across 205 villages, these initiatives have helped improve groundwater levels, enhance recharge capacity, and increase water availability for agricultural land and surrounding communities.
