In 2021, while we were all working from home, my CEO challenged us to invest in ourselves. That message stuck.

I wanted to master communication and leadership, and a quick search led me to Toastmasters, a choice that changed my life.

I stopped overthinking and started taking action. This gradually resulted in me stepping in leadership roles and I served as VP Education and Club President.

While others hesitated to take on roles like SAA in Area contest, I jumped in. I volunteered, made mistakes, and grew. That hands-on experience turned a curious learner into a confident leader.I realised each role holds some importance and teaches us something.

My belief in Grounded Leadership further strengthened. It’s about listening, supporting, and creating space for others to rise.

As Club Growth Director, my focus is to build strong clubs and nurture leaders so every member experiences the transformation I did. Growth begins when someone believes in you.

Today, I want to be that person for you
