Artificial Intelligence Needs Human Intelligence to Create Meaningful Impact: Experts at CMA
The Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) under the leadership of President Abhishek Subhash Gupta and General Secretary Navjot Kaur witnessed one of its most engaging and intellectually enriching evenings as it hosted a thought-provoking session on Beyond Artificial Intelligence: Why Human Intelligence Still Matters" at , Chandigarh. The event drew a packed house of industry leaders, technocrats, entrepreneurs, academicians and management professionals.
The session featured two eminent speakers— SaurabhAgrawal former TCS Startup Mentor and Member, National Council, and Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahni globally acclaimed Professor of Eminence and renowned Behavioural Scientist.
Drawing upon his rich experience in Public-Private Partnership initiatives and international strategic transformation projects, Shri Saurabh Agrawal simplified the technical complexities of Artificial Intelligence and highlighted the need to humanise AI by keeping human values at the centre of technological advancement.
Complementing the technological perspective, Dr. Sanjeev P. Sahni emphasised that qualities such as empathy, compassion, ethics, $rtaken by the Executive Committee during its brief tenure.
The highlight of the evening was the inspiring address by the Chief Guest Shri Manish Tiwari Ji Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Chandigarh who felicitated the distinguished speakers and captivated the audience with his insightful address, enriched with global perspectives, contemporary developments and data-driven insights on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence and human leadership.
In his concluding remarks, CMA President Shri Abhishek Gupta expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished speakers, members and guests for making the Association's first flagship event of the current tenure a grand success. He acknowledged the efforts of the entire Executive Committee, while making a special mention of the unparalleled commitment of Dr. Navjot Kaur, General Secretary & CEO, appreciating her meticulous working style that significantly contributed to the success of the programme. He also specially recognised the tireless efforts of Er. Sukhwinder S. Bhatia, Joint Secretary, Shri Jagmohan Bhogal, Treasurer, Shri Manoj Kumar of Offshore IT Solutions for sponsoring a part of the event, and Executive Committee members Shri Abhinav Malhotra and Shri A***n Anand, whose dedication went far beyond their assigned responsibilities.
The President also expressed his sincere gratitude to CMA Patron Shri Deepak Dhingra and Advisor Shri Gursimran Singh Oberoi for their constant encouragement and unwavering support. He acknowledged the guidance and continued association of key Past Presidents, including Shri Sukhwinder Uppal, Shri Umakant Mehta, Shri Deepak Jindal, Dr Aneet Bedi, Shri Manjiv Vohra, Shri Vikram Hans and Col. P. K. Vasudeva, and few others, whose experience continues to inspire the Association. A special appreciation was extended to Dr. Labh Singh, one of AIMA's tenured member, for facilitating a key strategic partnership during my tenure that will further strengthen CMA's future initiatives.
The event concluded reiterating CMA EC's commitment to further strengthen the Chandigarh Management Association by expanding its network, deepening member engagement, and fostering greater collaboration among professionals. The current teams tenure coming to an end on July 12, expressed confidence that the incoming Executive Committee would build on this strong foundation and raise the bar even higher through innovative initiatives and meaningful contributions to the management fraternity. As CMA continues its journey of excellence, its enduring motto remains both an inspiration and a promise—Together We Can.
