Grey Shades Supports Col Dr. Rajinder Singh in His Crusade Against Drug Addiction!

We are proud to announce our full support for Col Dr. Rajinder Singh in his relentless efforts to combat drug addiction. We are voluntarily backing the ambitious project of Akal Drug De-Addiction Centre- establishing a state-of-the-art Drug De-Addiction Centre in Chunni Kalan, located 20 kilometers from Mohali, Punjab. This vital initiative will be built on a generous gift of 2.5 acres of land from the Kalgidhar Trust.

Join us in supporting this noble cause and help us make a significant impact by providing hope to the families awaiting treatment and helping the youth of Punjab win over addiction.

With her rich experiences, Mrs. Amar Kulwant Singh has served as Chairperson of the National Committee on Motivation under the Ministry of Health, GOI. Her tenure as Chairperson of the Haryana Red Cross Board spans over a decade, showcasing her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. Additionally, she has contributed significantly as Vice-Chairman of the UT Red Cross Society and as a member of various advisory boards and councils, including the Chandigarh Administration Advisory Council and the Punjab Legal Services Authority.

Her dedication extends beyond mere titles, as evidenced by her commendable work recognized with a gold award from the Governor of Haryana for her services to Bal Niketan, uplifting orphans and the girl child. Mrs. Amar Kulwant Singh has also received an award by the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Dr. Bhatti, a distinguished academic with three PhDs, has made significant contributions to architectural education and discourse. Specializing in Sikh art and culture, his works include "Golden Temple: Marvel of Sikh Architecture" and "Japuji- Exegesis & Poetic Rendering." With expertise in Creative Mysticism and the architecture of Sri Harmandir Sahib, he has authored books such as "Divinity's Doorless Dome" and "Guru Nanak's Bani- Revelation, Mysticism, Creativity." A prolific writer, artist, and academician, he has left an indelible mark in these diverse fields.

Shri PS Bedi, a distinguished individual born in Gujranwala, Pakistan, and educated at Lawrence School, Sanawar Shimla, stands as a beacon of service and valor. Serving as a Second Lieutenant in the army, he later dedicated himself to community service post-retirement. Notably, he addressed pension-related issues for low-ranking officers and extended healthcare guidance. A veteran of the 1965 war and retired DIG from BSF, Shri PS Bedi, a recipient of prestigious awards, continues to inspire the younger generation to be active contributors to society and the nation.

Punjab’s First KIRAT KAMAYEE AWARDS 2023🏅

Sardara Singh Johl, born into a farming family in Lyalpur (now Faisalabad, Pakistan) during British India, received his early education at the local village school. He is renowned Indian agricultural economist, author, and politician, served as the chancellor of the Central University of Punjab. With a distinguished career, he has been a National Professor of Agricultural Economics with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, and has held the position of vice chancellor at both Punjabi University and Punjab Agricultural University at different points in time.

Johl Ji’s expertise extends to national and international spheres, having chaired the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices established by the Government of India. Additionally, he has served as a director on the Central Board of Governors of the Reserve Bank of India and has provided consultancy to esteemed international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization, World Bank, and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia.

Recognized for his significant contributions, Johl Ji was honored by the Government of India with the Padma Bhushan, the nation’s third highest civilian award, in 2004, in acknowledgment of his profound impact on agriculture and agricultural education.
