ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਰੋਗ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਿਉਂਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਖਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਣਛੂਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਣ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਵਾੜ ਹੀ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਗ਼ਰੀਬੀ, ਭੁੱਖਮਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ-ਪ੍ਰਤੀ-ਦਿਨ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।

ਕੇ ਹੀ ਤੋੜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਤਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ।
