A more than decade-long partnership with the British High Commission has been an important part of TiE Chandigarh’s journey, and we remain deeply grateful for their continued support, cooperation and encouragement of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

It was a pleasure meeting Ms. Alba Smeriglio, Deputy High Commissioner, British Deputy High Commission, Chandigarh, and discussing how we can build on this longstanding relationship.

With the UK-India Free Trade Agreement now in force, including specific provisions to facilitate SME participation, there is an exciting opportunity to create new pathways for entrepreneurs, startups and businesses across both ecosystems.

Our recent Members' Connect Program brought together our newest members for a fresh experience of what it means to be part of the TiE Chandigarh community.

The session was designed to go beyond introductions — creating space for meaningful conversations, getting to know the TiE ecosystem, sharing perspectives and building connections that can grow into opportunities.

From a warm welcome by Mr. Sumit Singh, Treasurer, TiE Chandigarh, and an introduction to TiE Chandigarh by Mr. Sumedh Sachdev, General Secretary, to recognising our newest members and connecting over breakfast, the session was a wonderful start to their TiE journey.
