Everyone thinks NGO hai, it is our job. It is not our job but we care for them with all our heart and soul coz being human enables us to do more with all our humanity than just watch with pity. Probably that is why we are humans. And even the NGO (not a robot) is a handful of humans trying their best to earn for their family and care for them too every hour of the day.

There was nothing ever shown on social media to show what we go through everyday for basics like weather conditions, food, water, electricity but we manage with the bare minimum support. Everyday is a fight, and we break down, we lose, we go hungry, we lose sleep, and do nothing more than just being present here 24x7.

Rabri was abandoned outside our gate at 10 PM, unable to see and barely three months old.

How can a precious life become such a burden that someone would leave a helpless, blind child alone in the middle of nowhere? Doesn’t your conscience ever weigh heavy on you?

Meet Mumtaz, our courageous little fighter! 🐾❤️ She is about 3-4 years old and was brought to us by the caring people from her street. Two weeks ago, Mumtaz had a terrible fall from a terrace, leaving her unable to walk and dragging herself ever since. Despite suffering from severe internal injuries, she remains incredibly brave.

Mumtaz has also been dealing with a pus discharge from her va**na, but thanks to ongoing treatment, this is gradually improving. We are optimistic and hopeful that she will walk again one day. Her spirit and determination are truly inspiring, and she reminds us every day why we do what we do. 🌟

Meet Visa, a 10+ year-old dog. He came to us from Braj Animal Care, where he had surgery for a fractured right shoulder and a rod was placed. Due to care difficulties, they brought him to us. We discovered the rod was displaced and removed it. Now, Visa is recovering beautifully and has been with us for about 1.5 months. Initially shy and in pain, he’s now happy, cheerful, and full of life! While he’s a bit introverted with other dogs, he absolutely adores people and is a joy to be around.🫶🏼

Disney, born and brought up here, while her mother Malai was paralyzed, but Malai can walk again now…. Was it her kids or her will, that she chose to live again? ♥️

We are blessed to have her here with us, and be a part of her life, and her kids who chose to be born here 😇

Meet Raag, a brave little soul who joined us on May 4th, 2024. Ananya discovered him just outside our sanctuary, soothing himself in a drain. His calls for help, sounding like a melody, inspired us to name him Raag.

Raag is around 6-7 years old and has endured fractures in both his left legs, likely due to an accident. Sadly, we may need to amputate his hind leg, while his fore leg has already been calcified. Despite these challenges, Raag’s spirit remains unbroken. 🐾

Pro and APE Life, nahi toh kahan milta hai kisiko koi yuhi kisi din ki zindagi bhar saath nibhaye…, aisa koi jo aya aur duniya ka har khushi saath le aaya, bhagwaan nhi toh koun hoga jo ek nayi duniya bna de… jo bhi kaha jaye kam hoga, par sach mein agar bhagwaan hoga toh issi rup mein hoga…

Update : We recently had surgeries for our resident dogs with Dr. Shivender. Thanks to him, Aami was saved in time and her pyometra was removed, while Kitty was operated for multiple complications including hernia, spleen, and pyometra. Kitty is still critical and just doing whatever possible so that my kid doesn’t feel the pain and stays comfortable…

No more wishes or prayers, just the basic life if I am able to provide…. and a promise that I will be there for you until my last. It is always a sorry, but no that is not enough, and I accept defeat.

This was as of present my last reponsibility to make sure my kids do not suffer, the least I could have done…

Meera is pregnant now, while Salsa and Bella were not present and just few kids who still have time to grow, will too have their surgeries in time…
