✨ACIC Mar Ephraem Incubation Forum at AIM Regional SUMVAAD✨

Our Team had the privilege of attending the AIM Regional SUMVAAD held on 23rd & 24th March 2026 at the *Spark Pullur Centre, Bengaluru, organized by the Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog.

It was highly engaging and insightful, bringing together ACIC leaders and teams from across the country to strengthen the incubation ecosystem in India. The sessions focused on key areas such as: Strategic planning for incubators, Understanding the innovation spectrum, Translating grassroots problem statements into actionable solutions, Building a “Minimum Viable ACIC”, Collaborative discussions with ecosystem stakeholders.

The interactive roundtables, expert talks, and peer-learning opportunities provided valuable perspectives on fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable incubation models.

This experience has further strengthened our commitment to nurture startups and empower innovators at the grassroots level at tier 3 region of our state. We look forward to implementing these learnings to create a stronger and more impactful innovation ecosystem.

The ACIC Mar Ephraem Incubation Forum successfully organized an insightful Student Innovation Program (SIP) session on “Business Plan Presentation” 🗓️ on 20/02/2026 through online mode 💻.

The session was led by Mrs. Tehilim Job P., Incubation Manager, ACIC Mar Ephraem Incubation Forum, who guided students on structuring an effective business plan 📊, understanding the key components of a compelling presentation 🎯, preparing financial projections and revenue models 💰, analyzing market opportunities and competition 📈, and developing strong investor pitching strategies 🤝.

Students actively participated 🙌 by engaging in discussions, clarifying doubts ❓, and presenting their innovative ideas 💡. The interactive approach provided practical insights into transforming creative concepts into investor-ready business plans 🚀.

🔔 Student Innovation Program Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
ACIC Mar Ephraem Incubation Forum successfully organized an insightful Student Innovation Program (SIP) session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on 16/02/2026 through an online platform.
The session was led by Mr. John Thankam, IPR Coordinator, Mar Ephraem College of Engineering and Technology, who delivered an engaging and informative talk on the fundamentals and strategic importance of protecting intellectual property in today’s innovation-driven ecosystem.
💡 The session highlighted the importance of Intellectual Property in startups and research, explained various types of IP such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs, outlined basic filing and protection strategies, and emphasized the role of IPR in commercialization and technology transfer.
Students actively participated in the interactive discussion, clarified their queries, and gained valuable insights into safeguarding their innovative ideas. The session focused on strengthening students’ understanding of the Student Innovation Program (SIP), idea validation processes, problem identification, and structured innovation development approaches. Mentors provided practical guidance on transforming ideas into workable solutions.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions, clarifying doubts, and presenting their early-stage ideas for expert feedback. The mentoring team also shared insights on innovation mindset development, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving approaches.

The KAVAL Hackathon concluded on a high note with its Valedictory Ceremony celebrating innovation, collaboration, and impact-driven solutions at ACIC Mar Ephraem Incubation Forum.

We were honored to have Dr. R. Stalin, Superintendent of Police (SP), Kanyakumari District, as the Chief Guest, whose presence and insights greatly encouraged the young innovators and participants.⚙️

During the pitching session, participants presented their innovative solutions addressing the given problem statements, showcasing creativity, technical expertise, and a strong focus on real-world societal challenges. 🌍
