GSAI President Frank Viegas made its presence at the inauguration of MILAAP – ITF Seafarers’ Expo 2026, organised on 29 January 2026 at Princess Dock, Mumbai.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Shri. Sameer Kumar Khare (Chairman National Shipping Board), Shri. Shyam Jagannathan, IAS, (Director General of Shipping), Government of India, and Mr. Stephen Cotton, General Secretary, International Transport Workers’ Federatin (ITF), leaders of Seafarers Unions and distinguished members of the maritime fraternity.

MILAAP is a platform where seafarers and their families can directly engage with ITF, Unions, and industry stakeholders.
