The “AKHIL GOMANTAKIYA DAIVADNYA BRAHMIN YOUTH ASSOCIATION” is founded with a mission statement of “YOUTH EMPOWERMENT”. Any Person Daivadnya by caste or marriage above 18 years and below 40 years is ent
itled for the membership on payment of lifetime membership of Rs.500/-
Its advisory council of the founder members consists of 12 dynamic individuals, representing different zones of Goa who are Lawyer, Doctors, Businessman, Teachers and Students from the Daivadnya Community truly aspiring to empower the youth of the community dedicating themselves to the societal issues and causes. To create opportunities for the progress and to upbring the youth socially, economically, educationally & culturally. OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION
• To unite the youth of the community, to work for the welfare and to create awareness between them.
• To help the needy, the poor youth and community financially, educationally, culturally, and socially and to promote their well being and to progress their respect.
• To create opportunities for the progress of the youth of the community.
• To conduct the classes to impart skills-set pertaining to practical orientation for the jobs and placement in the industrial zone including skills for promoting the growth of the conventional ornamentation business.
• To organize the religious programs with a clew to bring up the unity and to uniting the interest, feelings and actions among the youth and by virtue of which programs to encourage and surface the hidden talent and qualities among them.
• To organize various competitions which would include quiz competitions, dandiya, literature, singing competetions, writing and drama.
• To take up the initiative in event management programs pertaining to the community incase if the association is called for by the members of the association.
• To conduct and organize food festivals once in year as well as to celebrate different festivals.
• To conduct and organize the blood donations campaigns eye checkup camps, bone density camps medical check up with a view to upgrade the health among the youth of the community.
• To conduct and organize programs of alike nature with a view to improve the overall welfare and well being of the youth of the community.
