Annakshetra Annakshetra - An initiative to minimize Food Wastage! Food, as Love is meant for sharing - not for wasting.

Annakshetra is a unique initiative by Center for Development Communication (CDC), Jaipur formed with the aim of minimizing food wastage by effective channelization of the surplus food in weddings, parties, restaurants and temples to the needy people of local community. The extra left over food is collected by Annakshetra team from various donors and then it is distributed among the needy people. Note - it is the surplus food that is distributed and not the spoilt food.
