Dairy Innovation Summit 2025 featured in Indian Dairyman (Nov 2025 Edition)!

We’re delighted to share that the Dairy Innovation Summit 2025 – Shaping the Dairy Industry of Tomorrow, jointly organized by Verghese Kurien Institute of Dairy & Food Technology (VKIDFT) and the College of Dairy Science & Technology Graduates’ Association (CDSTGA), has been featured in the November 2025 issue of Indian Dairyman magazine.

Held on October 9–10, 2025 at VKIDFT, Mannuthy, the Summit brought together over 300 delegates—including industry professionals, policymakers, academicians, entrepreneurs, and students—from across India and abroad.

CDSTGA bids a heartfelt farewell to Prof. (Dr.) S. N. Rajakumar, Dean, Verghese Kurien Institute of Dairy & Food Technology (VKIDFT), on the occasion of his superannuation.
The evening of the Dairy Innovation Summit 2025 - Eemarathanalil turned into a memorable celebration — a blend of emotions, gratitude, and togetherness — as alumni, colleagues, and students came together to honour Dr. Rajakumar’s remarkable journey and contributions to the dairy fraternity.
The tribute segment featured touching memoirs shared by alumni, a beautiful photo collage capturing his legacy, and a musical performance by the Mangosteen Club Band, filling the night with warmth and nostalgia.
The evening was further brightened by an energetic dance performance by VKIDFT students, adding youthful spirit and joy to the occasion.
CDSTGA expresses its deepest appreciation for Dr. Rajakumar’s leadership, mentorship, and lasting impact on generations of dairy professionals. His dedication to academics and passion for the dairy sector will continue to inspire many.

in recognition of his unwavering support to the dairy community and the leadership and inspiration he continues to extend to the dairy fraternity.
Prof. (Dr.) Saseendranath has played a pivotal role in strengthening the infrastructure and academic ecosystem of the dairy sector in Kerala. His visionary efforts in institutional development, faculty empowerment, and research advancement have significantly contributed to the growth and reputation of KVASU and its affiliated institutions.

Day - 1 Morning Session

The technical sessions on Day 1 of the Dairy Innovation Summit 2025, organized by CDST Graduates’ Association (CDSTGA) in association with KVASU, set an inspiring tone for the two-day event.
Session 1 featured insightful talks by

Sri. Ramgopal R, Former Director, Dairy Development Department, Govt. of Kerala – “Beyond Milk – Valuing the Farmer in a Tech-Driven World.”
The sessions were summed up by Dr. P. I. Geevarghese, Former Dean (CDST), highlighting the need for strategic integration of technology, trade policy, and farmer-centric innovation to drive the sector forward.
