On 22nd June 2026, Seon Ashram was blessed by the visit of the members of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) from Holy Rosary Church, Alangar, Moodubidri, led by Animator Mr. Ivan Pinto, President Mr. Jason Correa, Secretary Mr. Nishan Tauro, and other esteemed members. The Managing Trustee, Dr. U. C. Paulose, extended a warm welcome and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their valuable time and presence. He also conducted an inspiring orientation session, sharing the mission and values of Seon Ashram, which are rooted in love, care, service, and humility.

During their visit, the members toured the wards and spent meaningful time with the residents, offering companionship, joy, and emotional support. Their presence brought smiles to many faces and created moments of warmth and human connection that left a lasting impression on both the residents and the visitors. We are sincerely grateful for their generous donation of daily essential items. Their thoughtful contribution, kind words, and encouraging feedback uplifted our spirits and reaffirmed our commitment to serving those in need. Their visit reminded us of the shared journey of compassion and service that unites us all.

We pray that Almighty God showers His abundant blessings upon each one of them. May their selfless acts of kindness continue to bring hope, joy, and love to many lives. We look forward to welcoming them again to Seon Ashram with open arms and heartfelt gratitude.

International Yoga Day was meaningfully celebrated on 21 June 2026 at Seon Ashram Trust (R.), Gandibagilu. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp by Mrs. Omana, Sub-Inspector of Venoor Police Station, along with other distinguished guests. Under the leadership of Dr. U. C. Paulose, Administrative Director of the institution, and Mrs. Mary U. P., Trustee Member, the celebration included various yoga sessions and demonstrations involving the Ashram residents, staff members, and guests.

On this occasion, the institution’s physician, Dr. Shivananda Swamy, spoke about the importance of yoga. He explained that yoga is an ancient Indian discipline that promotes both mental and physical well-being. He emphasized that yoga helps individuals manage stress, attain inner peace, and lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Among those present were the chief guest Mrs. Omana (Sub-Inspector, Venoor Police Station), Medical Officer Dr. Shivananda Swamy, well-wishers Mr. Shaji (Wayanad), Mr. Joseph P. P., Mr. Devasya M. P., members of the management committee, staff members, and residents of the Ashram. The programme concluded successfully with active participation from all present.

ಗಂಡಿಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ರಿ.)ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯೋಗ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 21-06-2026 ರಂದು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವೇಣೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಓಮನಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಅತಿಥಿ ಗಣ್ಯರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಯು.ಸಿ. ಪೌಲೋಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮೇರಿ ಯು.ಪಿ. ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದ ಗಣ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಯೋಗಾಸನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಯೋಗ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರು ಯೋಗದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಯೋಗವು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ದೈಹಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು, ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಓಮನಾ (ಸಬ್ ಇನ್ಸ್‌ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್, ವೇಣೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ), ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಶಿವಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಾಜಿ (ವಯನಾಡು), ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಪಿ.ಪಿ., ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಸ್ಯ ಎಂ.ಪಿ., ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಶ್ರಮನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

A Helping Hand, A New Life – Sandeep's Rehabilitation at Seon Ashram

On 31st May 2026, at around 6:00 PM, a man identified as Sandeep, approximately 35 years of age, was found wandering in a mentally distressed condition on Miyaru Road, Puduvettu Village, wearing soiled clothes and in need of immediate care and assistance. Following the guidance of Dr. U.C. Paulose, Managing Director of Seon Ashram, the staff members safely rescued him and admitted him to Seon Psychiatric Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, where he is currently receiving appropriate medical treatment and care.

Sandeep has a wheatish complexion and a tattoo mark on his right hand. He is able to communicate in Hindi and has identified himself as Sandeep from Hoshiarpur. However, he is speaking incoherently, and no further reliable information about his identity or family has been obtained so far.

ದಿನಾಂಕ:28.05.2026ರಂದು ಸುಮಾರು 25ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಪುಷ್ಪರಾಜ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಪೂರ್ವಾಹ್ನ ಸುಮಾರು 10.00 ಗಂಟೆಯ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ನೆರಿಯ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಗಂಡಿಬಾಗಿಲು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳಕು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಂತೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವನನ್ನು ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟೀ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಯು.ಪಿ.ಯವರು ಕರೆತಂದು ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದ್ರಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಕಪ್ಪು ಮೈಬಣ್ಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಹಣೆಯ ಎರಡು ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಡಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯದ ಗುರುತು ಇದೆ. ತಮಿಳು ಭಾಷೆ ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹೆಸರು ಪುಷ್ಪರಾಜ್, ಊರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಾತುಕತೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವಾದುದರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಮನೋರೋಗ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇತರ ಸುಳಿವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಲ್ಲಿ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಬಹುದು 097401 81028

On 28.05.2026, at around 10:00 AM, a man identified as Mr. Pushparaj, approximately 25 years old, was found wandering along Gandibagilu Road in Neriya village, dressed in dirty clothes and appearing to be mentally ill. He was brought to Seon Ashram and admitted by Mr. Subhash U.P., Trustee Member of Seon Ashram.

The individual has a dark complexion and bears scar marks on both sides of his forehead and on his left hand. He is able to speak Tamil and has stated that his name is Pushparaj and that he is from Tamil Nadu. However, as he is not responding properly during conversations, no further information about him could be obtained.

On 26th May, medical students from California and North Carolina, accompanied by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Yenapoya Dental College, and the Rural Health Care & Development Center, Yenapoya (Deemed to be University), visited Seon Ashram.The Managing Trustee, Dr. U.C. Paulose, extended a warm welcome to the entire team.Dr. Shivananda Swamy, Chief Medical Officer, and Mrs. Asha, Social Worker of Seon Ashram, conducted an orientation session, sharing the history of the Ashram and highlighting the various services offered.

The Ashram management, along with all staff members, were present during the visit.As part of the visit, the team toured all the wards and personally interacted with each inmate — an experience that Seon Ashram considers a true blessing.

ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಮತಿವಿಕಲರಾಗಿ ಕೊಳಕು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಬಸ್ಸು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಮ್ಯಾನೆಗಿಂಗ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಯುತ ಯು ಸಿ ಪೌಲೋಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿವರ್ಗದವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ:26.11.2024ರಂದು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗುವ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕ್ಷೀಣಗೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಅರಿವು ಹೊಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮನೋವೈದ್ಯರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರಂತರ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮನರಂಜನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಆರೈಕೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಳಾಸ ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ತಾಲೂಕು ಹಾವೆಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ‘ಅಪ್ಪು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಬಳಗ’ದವರು ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಊರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸದ್ರಿ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನಿತ್ತ ‘ಅಪ್ಪು ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಬಳಗ’ದವರು ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿ, ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಮಾನಸಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇವರ ಮಗನಾದ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರ ಮಗ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದ ನಂತರ ದಿನಾಂಕ:03.05.2026ರಂದು ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ತಾಯಿ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ಈವರೆಗೆ ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೈಕೆಗೆ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ತಮ್ಮ ಊರು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಾವೆಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತೆರಳಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಯೋನ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜಿಂಗ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿವರ್ಗದವರು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
