And that's a wrap on Coastal Innovation Hackathon 2026.

24 hours of relentless building, three mentor checkpoints, and 30 teams pushing their ideas to the finish line. 10 made it to the final round, and three walked away with top honors.

First Prize: Team ByteClub, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

First Runner-up: Team Nexus Alpha, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru

Second Runner-up: Team Third Prize!!!, BMS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru

Thanks to our judges, mentors, sponsors, and every dignitary who graced the valedictory ceremony, and to Build Up Kasaragod for co-organizing this journey with us.

To every participant who showed up, brainstormed, debugged, and didn't give up till 11 AM, this one's for you.

After an incredible journey of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving, we are proud to recognize the outstanding teams who emerged as the winners of Coastal Innovation Hackathon 2026. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement.

A heartfelt thank you to Build Up Kasaragod for partnering with us to make CIH 2026 a reality, and to Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management for hosting and supporting this initiative. Under the STEM Summer Camp initiative at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, members of SOSC conducted an interactive session for students from Classes 5th – 9th.

The session covered the basics of computers, machines, AI, and coding by Pranam, followed by a beginner-friendly Programming with Python session by Soniya.

Along with learning, students also participated in fun communication games that made the session more engaging and enjoyable. Their curiosity and enthusiasm truly made the experience memorable
