Hyderabad | 29.04.2026: Goshamahal Police have registered a criminal case against Girish Kumar Agarwal and others for unauthorized use of a siren on a private vehicle, misuse of VIP stickers, and misbehavior with on-duty police personnel. FIR No.150/2026 has been registered under relevant sections of BNS and MV Act.
On 28.04.2026 at about 11:30 hrs, a white Toyota Fortuner (TS 09 FP 5004) was intercepted by Sub-Inspector M. Raghavendra of Goshamahal Traffic Police at the Traffic Training Institute, Goshamahal, for using a siren in violation of norms. The occupant allegedly behaved rudely with police staff and produced an ID card of a โNational Human Rights Organizationโ to justify the unauthorized usage.
During investigation, it was found that the accused misused siren and VIP stickers, amounting to impersonation, violation of traffic rules, and creating public inconvenience. The vehicle has been seized and handed over to Goshamahal Police Station (L&O) for further action.
Notices under Section 35(3) BNSS, 2023 have been issued to A-1 Girish Kumar Agarwal, A-2 Hanuma Reddy, A-3 Kitesh, while A-4 Nagesh is absconding, directing them to appear before the police.
Public Advisory: Unauthorized use of sirens and VIP insignia on private vehicles is a punishable offence. Citizens are advised to adhere to traffic regulations.
