EternaSafe is a secure digital platform designed to help individuals safeguard and share essential financial and personal information with their families. It serves as an “information insurance” vault, enabling important assets, documents, and final wishes to be securely released to verified nominees when needed.

We’re delighted to welcome Mr. Anand Kumar, SoC Design Engineering and ASIC CAD leader, to the IIT Mandi Catalyst Mentor Panel! 🤝

With 23+ years of experience in SoC Design Engineering, ASIC CAD, semiconductor design verification, EDA flow development, and verification methodologies, Anand brings extensive industry expertise from leading organizations including Intel, Qualcomm, and Wipro/Texas Instruments.

His expertise spans EDA methodology and automation, RTL/SoC verification, simulation flows, low-power UPF verification, gate-level simulation, coverage closure, and verification tools including VCS, Verdi, ModelSim, and Cadence platforms. His current focus includes scalable EDA flows, tool optimization, and engineering productivity.

Anand holds an M.Tech in Microelectronics from NIT Surathkal and a B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He has also contributed to technical publications in SoC verification and coverage methodologies and has received industry recognition for his work in functional verification.

We were pleased to welcome Mr. Rajeev Kumar Singhal, National Mission Manager – Non-Farm Livelihoods, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission, to IIT Mandi Catalyst.

During his visit, Mr. Singhal met with Prof. Dipankar Deb, Faculty Incharge & Director – Incubation, IIT Mandi Catalyst, for an insightful discussion on the Himachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (HPSRLM).

The discussion explored key aspects of the initiative, including:

From Patent Grant to Enforcement: Identifying Infringement and Protecting MedTech Innovations

Participants will learn how to analyse granted patent claims, identify potential infringement by competing products or technologies, evaluate technical evidence, and understand the difference between Patent Infringement Analysis and Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) Analysis. The session will also cover evaluating proposed claim amendments, assessing their necessity and impact on patent scope, and supporting patent professionals during patent hearings. Through practical examples and prior-art comparison exercises, the session aims to help inventors become active technical contributors throughout the patent prosecution process.
