Dr. Vijay Memorial Senior Secondary School, Dharampur, celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and a commitment to environmental sustainability. The programme began with an inspiring address by Principal Mr. Om Prakash, who encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices, conserve natural resources, reduce plastic use, and become responsible citizens dedicated to protecting the environment.
To mark the occasion, the school organized a Declamation Competition, Poster Making Competition, Slogan Writing Competition, and an Environment Awareness Rally through Dharampur Market. 🚔 Awareness Program on Drug Abuse & Cyber Crime 🚔

An enlightening awareness session was conducted at Dr. Vijay Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Dharampur (Distt. Mandi, H.P.) by SHO dharampur Mr. Vinod Kumar and his team from the Himachal Pradesh Police. The session focused on the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of cyber safety in today's digital world.

Students actively participated in the interactive discussion and gained valuable insights on making responsible decisions, staying away from drugs, and protecting themselves from online frauds and cyber threats.

📢 POCSO Act & Drug Abuse Awareness Program

Dr. Vijay Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Dharampur, organized an awareness program under the theme "Suraksh*t Bachpan, Suraksh*t Bhavishya" in collaboration with the Legal Services Committee, Police Department, and legal experts.

The session was addressed by Advocate Mr. Anil Kumar and SHO Dharampur, Mr. Vinod Kumar, who sensitized students about the provisions of the POCSO Act, child safety, legal rights, and the harmful effects of drug abuse. The speakers also motivated students to make responsible choices and become aware, confident, and law-abiding citizens.
