We operate through registered nonprofit entities in India and the United States. “Smiley Children Society” is an NGO that spreads happiness among the hopeless & poorer families with Education, Food, Clothing, Medical & Orphan help. Initially started with 2 members and now we placed 6000+ students in education since 15years in East Godavari & West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. In which
some students have joined professional courses (2022) and are employed with help of PMKVY (an INDIAN Govt Initiative). Initially we used to adopt only child and took care of him/her until he/she has completed their basic education i.e., 10th class (14 years of age) by giving notebooks, stationary, shoes, bags, evening tuitions, paying tuition fees and also providing dinner. from 2017 we started taking care of the whole family (whose father expired/ bed ridden & single mother) families, giving self-employment training to mothers like tailoring/candle or soap making/job assistance., and monthly distributing 10kg rice bag and a grocery kit with the basic necessities. To old people: We also started to support the elder people suffering with knee-joint pains, eye vision issue, backbone problem, so we have conducted medical check-ups & provided medicines. In some cases, we distributed essential medical equipment kits, occasionally we distribute sarees & blanket., monthly nutritious food & groceries distribution.
