🇮🇳 77th Republic Day Celebration at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve 🇮🇳

It was a privilege to be part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations at one of the remote schools deep inside the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.

As part of our continued commitment to education and community support, we:
• Donated water bottles to all students
• Distributed sweets to celebrate the occasion
• Shared a meaningful session on coexistence with nature and wildlife, delivered by our Founder, for both students and staff

We also visited another tribal school, where we donated a projector and projector screen to support digital learning and better classroom engagement.

Small steps, big impact—towards education, awareness, and harmony with nature. 🌱📚

GCT had the privilege of supporting a bright tribal girl by sponsoring her B.Ed education and providing necessary guidance throughout her journey.

Watching her speak with gratitude and pride reminded us why our mission matters. We want to empower, uplift, and create opportunities through education. Her determination, despite every challenge, is a powerful reminder that opportunity can transform lives.

✨ Strengthening Community Bonds in the Heart of Nagarhole ✨

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the Anna Daana program in Ayyappa Temple inside Nagarhole Tiger Reserve by donating rice bags and steel utensils. 🛕

This small contribution aims to encourage togetherness and help bring the tribal community closer through shared celebrations and traditions.

Moments like these remind us that conservation isn’t just about protecting wildlife. It’s also about nurturing the people who have lived in harmony with nature for generations. 🌿❤️

We distributed 100+ warm blankets, sanitary pads for women and girls, and pressure cookers to families in need.

These essentials may seem simple, but they bring comfort, dignity, and relief to the communities who live deep inside the forest and coexist with wildlife every day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and supported this initiative. Together, we can continue making a meaningful difference. ❤️

India’s elephant numbers fall by 18% to 22,446 – but Centre says ‘not comparable’ to past estimate.

India Elephant Population 2025: According to the much-delayed elephant census, Karnataka continues to harbour the largest population (6,013), followed by Assam (4,159), Tamil Nadu (3,136), Kerala (2,785), Uttarakhand (1,792), and Odisha (912).

Over the past week, GCT successfully completed 4 sessions across 4 colleges engaging with 540+ students on Elephant Conservation. 🎓✨

Young minds came together to learn about human-elephant conflict, habitat loss, poaching, and the importance of coexistence. The energy, curiosity, and participation we witnessed give us hope that the next generation will stand strong for our gentle giants. 💚

While this series marks the close of our World Elephant Day celebrations, it is only the beginning of more action, awareness, and commitment towards conservation. 🌍🐘

A big THANKS to the colleges, faculty, and students for their encouragement and support in making this initiative a success. Together, we can ensure a safer future for elephants. 🌿

🐘🌿 World Elephant Day Awareness Series – Concludes at Mangalore Degree College, Ullal! 🌿🐘
With the 4th and final session held at Mangalore Degree College, Ullal, we proudly draw curtains on a week-long journey of awareness, learning, and inspiration. 💚✨

Over the past week, GCT reached four colleges across Bangalore engaging around 400+ students on crucial topics such as human-elephant conflict, habitat loss, poaching, and the importance of coexistence. 🌍

The enthusiasm and participation from students throughout these sessions gives us immense hope that the youth will carry forward the mission of conserving our gentle giants. 🐘💚
This may mark the end of the World Elephant Day series, but GCT's efforts to conserve these gentle giants continues. 🌿

🐘 World Elephant Day – Spreading Awareness! 🐘

Our mission to protect these gentle giants continues! This week, we’re conducting 4 special sessions on Elephant Conservation across various degree colleges in the city.

Today marked Session 2 of 4, where students learned about human-elephant conflicts, habitat loss, poaching, and the urgent need to protect these majestic animals. 🌿💚
