The TBS-25 Brochure and website was officially launched by Dr. Anil Kumar, Chairman of the Kerala State Biodiversity Board, at the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) , in the presence of the honourable Vice Chancellor Dr. A Bijukumar on September 26, 2025.

As part of the event, the Aquatic Biodiversity Register of Fishes and Wetland birds of Kumbalam Grama Panchayat was released by Dr. Anil Kumar, in the presence of Panchayat Vice President Smt. Carmali Teacher. Adding grace to the event, Dr Haris Parengal, Chairperson of Centre for Tropical Biodiversity Conservation handed over a book to the chief guests Dr. Anil Kumar and honourable VC.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Rajeev Raghavan, Assistant Professor, Department of Fisheries Resource Management, Dr. V. P. Limna Mol, Assistant Professor, Department of Marine Biosciences and Dr. Anvar Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Fisheries Resource Management. Dr Anoop Vijayakumar, Deputy Director- Department of EIA, CTBC, Dr Miriam M Abraham, Dean of Research, CTBC, Mr Sandeep Prabhakaran, Director, Divisions of Plant Ecology and Conservation-CTBC and Mr Sethu Madhav, Deputy Director- Department of Remote Sensing and GIS, CTBC
