Recently, Dr. Bhavesh Bhatia was invited as the Chief Guest to share his inspiring journey and deliver a talk on the topic “From Handcart to Rashtrapati Bhavan” at the prestigious Yashwant Vyakyanmala organised at Shirala, Maharashtra on 21st March 2026
Dr. Bhavesh ji was deeply honoured to meet respected Shri Shivajirao ji Naik sir, Former Minister of PWD, Maharashtra and share the Stage with respected Shri. Satyajit ji Naik sir.

The event was specially attended by our mentors:
Respected Dr. Shantanu ji Kulkarni, HOD of Emergency Medicine at Krishna Hospital, Karad, and Respected Shri Shirish ji Gandhi, 3 times President of Rotary Club Mahabaleshwar and a well-known social worker,
along with Respected Shri Dinesh bhai Sheth and family from Sangli.

डॉ. भावेश भाटिया यांची ही प्रेरणादायी कहाणी. शाळेत असताना आलेलं अकाली अंधत्व आणि त्यानंतर खडखडीत खडतर जीवनाचा सुरू झालेला प्रवास, पण या प्रवासात खचलेल्या बालमनाला त्यांच्या आईने दिलेलं बळ, प्रेरणा व आत्मसन्मानाची शिकवण आणि स्वाभिमानाचे धडे लेखकास पुरे होते. हा प्रवास सोपा नक्कीच नव्हता. चांगल्या धडधाकट व्यक्तीवर संकट आल्यावर दूर दूर पळणारे नातलग, मित्र परिवार, जातभाई... दृष्टी गेलेल्या व्यक्तीस कितपत आधार देतील? पण एक ऑपरेटर ते एक उद्योजक, 'सनराईज कॅण्डल'चा विस्तार आणि स्वतःबरोबर अनेक दृष्टिहीन व्यक्तींना स्वतःच्या पायावर उभं करून रोजगार देणारा हा अवलिया किती अडथळे पार करून आलाय हे जाणून घेण्यासाठी पुस्तक वाचायला हवंच.
कुठलाही वशीला नाही की कोणाची सहानुभूती नाही, स्वबळावर विविध प्रयोग करत उद्योग यशस्वी करणं सोपं नाही. यात ज्या ज्या देवमाणसांनी हातभार लावला त्यांचा पण उल्लेख आहे, पण त्या देवमाणसांनी देखील कधीच उपकारिक भाषा न करता व स्वाभिमान न दुखावता कशी मदत करता येऊ शकते हे त्यांच्या कृतीतून दाखवून दिलंय. लेखक फक्त उद्योग उभारून थांबले नाहीत तर त्यांनी सामाजिक जाणीवेचं भान देखील ठेवलंय. महाबळेश्वरमध्ये सनराईज कॅण्डल नावाने त्यांनी भव्य असा उद्योग परिसर आणि म्युझियम सुरू केलंय, तेथे अनेक दृष्टिहीन व्यक्तींना रोजगार मिळाला आहे त्याचबरोबर सर्वजण स्वाभिमानाने कष्ट करून जगत आहेत. हजारो आयुष्य त्यांनी उजळून टाकली आहेत.
दोन वेळा राष्ट्रपती पुरस्कार सह एकून 46 पुरस्कारांचे ते मानकरी आहेत.विशेष म्हणजे सर्व पुरस्कार त्यांच्या योग्यतेनुसार दिले आहेत.. आणी अशा हजारो पुरस्कारांचे ते मानकरी आहेत असंच वाटत..त्यांच्या कामाची दखल रिलायन्स ग्रुप ने देखील घेतली आहे.व त्यांच्या पुस्तकास प्रस्तावना देखील नीता अंबानी यांनी दिली आहे.उद्योग करताना छोट्या छोट्या गोष्टी कसा प्रभाव करतात याच वर्णन देखील त्यांनी लिहिल आहे..
या कार्यात महत्त्वाचं योगदान त्यांच्या धर्मपत्नी नीता भाटिया यांनी दिलं आहे. दूरदृष्टी ठेवून आपल्या पतीस प्रोत्साहन देऊन, नवीन कल्पनेसह पाठिंबा देऊन त्यांना हुरूप देण्याचं काम त्यांनी केलंय. नीता भाटिया यांचं कर्तृत्व, त्यांचं पवित्र निस्वार्थी प्रेम या पुस्तकातून वाचताना आंतरिक वेगळी ऊर्जा मिळते. कलियुगातील देवी हा शब्द व मान त्यांना समर्पक वाटतो. पुस्तक सर्व वयोगटातील वाचक वाचू शकतात. मनाने खचलेल्या पण शरीराने धडधाकट असलेल्या प्रत्येक व्यक्तीने वरील पुस्तक नक्की वाचावं आणि आत्मसात करावं.

Happy to share a truly humbling and blessed moment.

On 6th March 2026, Dr. Bhavesh ji Bhatia and Kunal Bhatia had the great honour of meeting and receiving the blessings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Dharamshala.
Dr. Bhavesh ji was accompanied by the Chairman of the Tibet Public Service Commission, Mr. Karma ji Yeshi, during this interaction.

During the visit, Dr. Bhavesh ji was also specially invited to deliver a motivational talk and share his inspiring journey at the Parliament of the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala. More than 350 secretaries, officers, staff members, and dignitaries attended the session and warmly received the message of perseverance, inclusion, and dignity of work.

What made this moment even more special was the feeling that these blessings were not meant for one individual alone, but for the entire family of Sunrise Candles — every visually impaired brother and sister who works every day with courage, determination, and faith.

29th December was marked as a day of inspiration, celebration, and social commitment at Naigaon, the birthplace of Respected Savitribai Phule Ji.

On this auspicious occasion, the birth anniversary of Shri Ratan Ji Tata and the birthday of Dr. Bhavesh Bhatia Ji were celebrated together with the Entrepreneur Award Function, organized by Shri Balasaheb Kakde and AGNIPANKH Foundation, Shrigonda.

Adding to the spirit of the event, over 100 cyclists undertook an inspiring 138 km cycle journey from Shrigonda (Ahilyanagar) to Naigaon to participate in the celebrations. The cyclists ranged in age from 8 years to 71 years, beautifully reflecting the message of unity, determination, and inclusive participation.

The program was graced by the special presence of Padma Shri Rahibai Popere Ji, whose life and work continue to inspire generations toward sustainable farming, women empowerment, and grassroots leadership.

The event stood as a powerful tribute to nation-building through entrepreneurship, social service, perseverance, and inclusive growth, drawing inspiration from the legacies of Shri Ratan Tata Ji, Savitribai Phule Ji, and Dr. Bhavesh Bhatia Ji.
