𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

On 4 October 2026, KCS Foundation, India, successfully organised the celebration of International Literacy Day and the YES Awards 2026 in Dubai.

The occasion brought together distinguished dignitaries, inspiring speakers, young changemakers and community leaders to celebrate the transformative power of education, literacy and service.

We were deeply honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Prabhat Kumar Jha, Executive Director, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and our Guest of Honour, Mr. Pabitra Kumar Majumder, Consul (Education, Consular & MADAD), Consulate General of India, Dubai.

We sincerely thank our distinguished guest speakers—Dr. Gautam Kumar(Herr Gautam), Mr. Porush Jhunjhunwala, Anil Kumar Jha Mr. Bhupesh Kaura of Deloitte, Ms. Anishaa Jaisinghani of Deloitte, Mr. Siddhant Jhurani of Altrea Global, and renowned motivational speaker Mr. Amar Choudhary—for sharing their valuable experiences, insights and inspiring messages.

🎉 A proud moment for the entire KCS Foundation family!
PTI News has featured the inspiring journey of Amay Ahuja and Bright Minds Laboratories—an initiative established in association with KCS Foundation India that is transforming science education for approximately 2,232 rural students in Samastipur, Bihar.
Amay, a Year 10 student at Jumeirah College in Dubai, discovered that many students in rural government schools were learning science only through textbooks. Without access to proper laboratories, they could read about experiments but rarely perform them.
Amay decided to change that.
He researched the educational gap, prepared a detailed project proposal, arranged the required resources and worked closely with KCS Foundation to establish a composite laboratory for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
The laboratory now enables students in Grades 6–10 to:
🧪 Conduct scientific experiments
🔬 Handle laboratory equipment
📐 Explore mathematics through practical activities
💡 Develop curiosity and scientific thinking
🤝 Learn with trained and supported teachers
Amay also developed the practical curriculum and continues to train teachers and interact with students remotely every weekend. His forthcoming book, “Bright Minds Composite Laboratory Curriculum,” will provide structured experiments, safety guidance, learning objectives and assessment methods for teachers.

हमें यह बताते हुए अत्यंत हर्ष और गर्व हो रहा है कि USA News ने 𝗝𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜 𝗕𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔 पर एक विशेष समाचार प्रकाशित किया है।

यह प्रेरणादायक पहल दुबई के Arcadia British School , Dubai में Year 11 की छात्रा सरन्या गुप्ता द्वारा KCS Foundation India के सहयोग से आरंभ की गई है।
बिहार के समस्तीपुर ज़िले के सिंघिया प्रखंड में स्थापित इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत वर्तमान में वंचित समुदायों की 𝟰𝟬 महिलाओं और युवतियों को औद्योगिक सिलाई, कपड़े की कटाई, माप लेने, मशीनों के संचालन, परिधान की फिनिशिंग तथा गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण का व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है।

🧵 प्रशिक्षण से रोज़गार तक का सफ़र
“जागृति बाय सारा” केवल सिलाई-प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम नहीं है। इसका उद्देश्य एक स्थायी सामाजिक उद्यम विकसित करना है, जिसके माध्यम से प्रशिक्षित महिलाएँ आसपास के विद्यालयों के लिए स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म तैयार करेंगी।
इससे उनके कौशल को नियमित रोज़गार, सम्मानजनक आय और आर्थिक आत्मनिर्भरता में परिवर्तित किया जा सकेगा।

सरन्या ने गहन शोध, स्पष्ट उद्देश्य और विस्तृत कार्ययोजना के साथ KCS Foundation India से संपर्क किया था। इसके बाद कई महीनों तक हमारी टीमों ने स्थानीय आवश्यकताओं का अध्ययन किया, प्रशिक्षण एवं उत्पादन का व्यावहारिक मॉडल तैयार किया, औद्योगिक मशीनों से सुसज्जित केंद्र स्थापित किया और एक अनुभवी प्रशिक्षक की नियुक्ति की।

हमारा उद्देश्य इन महिलाओं को केवल लाभार्थी बनाना नहीं, बल्कि उन्हें कुशल पेशेवर, आत्मनिर्भर आय अर्जित करने वाली महिलाओं और अपने जीवन के निर्णय स्वयं लेने वाली सशक्त व्यक्तियों के रूप में स्थापित करना है।

🌱 एक विचार से सामाजिक परिवर्तन तक
𝗝𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜 𝗕𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔 इस बात का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है कि सही मार्गदर्शन, सुनियोजित प्रयास और मज़बूत सामुदायिक सहयोग मिलने पर युवा समाज में स्थायी और सार्थक परिवर्तन ला सकते हैं।

A PROUD MOMENT FOR 𝗞𝗖𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗔!
We are delighted to share that USA News has published a special feature on 𝗝𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜 𝗕𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔—an inspiring youth-led initiative founded by Saranya Gupta, a Year 11 student at Arcadia British Schooll, Dubai, in collaboration with KCS Foundation India.
Established in Singhiya Block, Samastipur District, Bihar, the initiative is currently providing 𝟰𝟬 women and girls from underserved communities with professional training in industrial stitching, fabric cutting, measurements, machine operation, garment finishing and quality control.
🧵 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧
Jagriti by Sara is much more than a sewing-training programme. Its purpose is to develop a sustainable social-enterprise model through which trained women can manufacture school uniforms for nearby schools.
By connecting professional skills with genuine market demand, the project aims to transform training into regular employment, dignified income and long-term financial independence.
Saranya approached KCS Foundation India with extensive research, a clear purpose and a detailed implementation plan. Over several months, our teams studied local needs, developed a practical training and production model, established a centre equipped with industrial garment-making machines and appointed an experienced trainer.
Our goal is not to treat these women merely as beneficiaries, but to recognise them as skilled professionals, independent earners and empowered decision-makers.

Dubai student Saranya Gupta launches Jagriti by Sara, creating garment skills and employment opportunities for rural women.

KCS Foundation is proud to partner with GenRise Labs, an initiative founded by Karam Kandhari, a student at Sevenoaks School (UK), that is helping equip youth in Bihar with practical AI, digital marketing, and entrepreneurial skills. Unlike traditional technology programs that focus solely on classroom learning, GenRise combines skill development with real-world application, enabling students to use tools such as Canva, Generative AI, social media marketing, and digital content creation to support local micro-businesses in their communities.

During his recent visit to Bihar, Karam spent time interacting with students and teachers, reviewing the progress of the curriculum, and learning firsthand about the projects students have been developing. The visit provided an opportunity to monitor the program’s growth, gather feedback, and work alongside students as they applied their skills for real-world impact. Karam also visited local businesses and engaged with project teams to better understand how student-led digital solutions, from product catalogs and promotional materials to social media content and branding support, can create meaningful impact for small enterprises while building students’ confidence and entrepreneurial mindset.

The partnership builds on Karam’s earlier efforts to raise funds for a 20-computer digital learning lab and reflects a shared commitment between KCS Foundation and GenRise Labs to bridge the digital divide through innovation and opportunity. By combining AI literacy, entrepreneurship, and community engagement, this initiative has the potential to become a scalable model for empowering students with skills and confidence while supporting local economic growth. We are excited by the progress already made and look forward to expanding the program to additional schools in the future.
