The Mogto Youth Welfare Association extends our heartfelt congratulations to Gyshe Rinchin Norbu La on the remarkable achievement of successfully completing the esteemed Gyshe Lharampa degree.

We take immense pride in celebrating this historic moment, as he becomes the first from our village Mogto to accomplish this highest level of monastic education. The 90th birthday is conventionally considered an important milestone in one’s life. I have dedicated myself to spreading the message of compassion and kindness, which I believe is the basis for peace and happiness in this world, and will continue doing so.

As I often tell my friends and well-wishers, I would request you to join me in this effort, to be warm-hearted and to lead a meaningful life in the service of others; that will be the best birthday gift to me.

Tree Plantation Drive from Mogto Chamrong to Thupten Getselling Monastery

Today, under the inspiring leadership of Achi Pema Tsering, a young and energetic public leader from Mogto Constituency, the Mogto Youth Welfare Association (MYWA) successfully carried out a tree plantation drive along the route from Mogto Chamrong to Yatpho Thupten Getselling Monastery.

This green initiative aims to promote environmental conservation, preserve the natural beauty of our sacred landscape, and inspire the younger generation to take responsibility for a greener future.

Celebrating the 90th Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama
Today, with hearts full of devotion and gratitude, the Mogto Youth Welfare Association joined hands with the Mukto Sangha Committee and Youth Welfare and Heritage Preservation Society,Mogto YWHopes to celebrate the auspicious 90th birthday of His Holiness at the Kitdung Gonpa.
The day was filled with prayers, offerings, and a deep sense of unity, echoing His Holiness's timeless message of compassion, peace, and universal responsibility.
May His Holiness live a long, healthy life and continue to guide all sentient beings on the path of wisdom and compassion.

Celebrating the 90th Birthday of His Holiness with Nature

On the auspicious occasion of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama's 90th birthday, the Mogto Youth Welfare Association organized a special plantation drive to honor his lifelong message of peace, compassion, and environmental preservation.

As a humble tribute, we planted a Rhododendron flower plant in the sacred surroundings of the Gonpa. May this plant bloom beautifully in the years to come, symbolizing harmony, resilience, and our commitment to a greener future.
