(incubated at VLIIF), interacted with students and faculty during an engaging brainstorming session at the workshop “Ensuring Milk Quality for Community Health”, held today at the auditorium of the College of Animal Biotechnology, GADVASU, Ludhiana.

Vety and Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF), GADVASU proudly launched its official newsletter Whiteboard@VLIIF

The launch event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Worthy Vice Chancellor, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (gadvasu) and Chairman, Governing Board, VLIIF; along with Dr. P.S. Brar, Director Research, GADVASU & Director, VLIIF; Dr. R.S. Grewal, Director Extension Education, GADVASU & Director, VLIIF; Dr. R S Sethi, ADR GADVASU & Director VLIIF; and Dr. Dr. Munish Jindal, Founder & CEO, MentorX and HoverRobotix and Dr. Sunil Kumar Khatkar Kumar and Dr. Kumar, Co-PIs of the project. We were also privileged to have Dr. C.S. Yadav, Scientist C, DST; Dr Manikant Paswan, Director, SLIET, Longowal; and Dr Kavita Bansal, Founder, Shodhraksha in the newsletter launch in online mode.
On the occasion, Dr. R.S. Sethi elaborated on the vision and objectives of Whiteboard@VLIIF, highlighting that the newsletter is aimed to disseminate information, inspire collaboration, and strengthen the innovation network in the livestock and allied sectors.
During the launch, Mr. Ankush Pathania, CEO, VLIIF; presented the key highlights of recent activities and achievements, showcasing the Foundation’s role in building a strong innovation and startup ecosystem in the livestock and allied sectors.

We’re proud to share a major milestone achieved by the Vety and Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF), a Section 8 company established at GADVASU, Ludhiana.
Our incubated startup, Frontrunner Farms Pvt. Ltd. (FFIN), has successfully recruited three of our bright and talented students:
Sahil Sharma – Field Quality and Compliance Manager
Harshdeep Kaur – Quality Analyst (Product Development Lab)
Dr. Simrandeep Singh – Coordinator, Veterinary Advisory and Upstream Research
This achievement demonstrates how university-led incubation can translate into meaningful employment and industry exposure for students. FFIN, through its premium brand pureGEM™, is developing a “Farmer First” ecosystem focused on export-grade dairy solutions—blending innovation with rural impact.
