You are cordially invited by EcoSikh to join a musical and entertaining evening dinner. This is to support an initiative to plant 100 forests (55,000 native trees of Punjab) in celebration of the 450th anniversary of the city of Amritsar. A similar number of trees have already been planted in the city in the last few months which is helping to restore the ecosystem of our sacred city and will help in reducing the growing pollution/rising temperatures.
This event will feature Devenderpal Singh of an Indian Idol fame and who is presently a noted ghazal and playback singer in Mumbai. He became an overnight sensation due to his vocal abilities during the Indian Idol competition and became a favorite of legends like Lata Mangeshwar and Asha Bhonsle.
We know it is a very short notice. Devender Pal was coming in town and we wanted to take advantage of his presence and provide an opportunity for everyone to enjoy his melodious performance.
Please come with your family and friends to support a noble cause!
