On Feb 13th, RC Ludhiana Harmony celebrated Valentine’s Day at SEAL Academy , school for Children with special educational needs to accentuate stronger, kinder, and compassionate bond between teachers and students and to celebrate the mothers, fathers and grandparents unconditional love and unwavering support as well as the loyalty of our Rotarians to spread the message of love ❤️ , the greatest force in human existence.

Interact Club is sponsored by our Rotary club for students aged 12-18 at Drishti Dr R. C Jain Public School, Narangwal . The importance of Interact club in schools is for developing leadership, empathy, and community responsibility.
Also a Poster making Compitition on theme “ Save Environment “ was also organized . The aim behind the competition was to show creative and artistic skills of students and also to spread awareness among them.

On Dec 13th, District Governor Rtn. Rohit Oberai and his wife Aruna Oberai along with other District officers and Club Predidents from other clubs were welcomed at the DG’s official visit to our club . 6 new members were inducted and given their Rotary Pins

RC Ludhiana Harmony organized New Members’ Orientation followed by delivery of Rs. 37000 worth body warmers to a teacher for students belonging to underpriviliged families

RC Ludhiana Harmony organized an on going signature project “ Operation Channan” -
an Eye Check-up camp in an Orphanage. Under the guidance of its club secretary Dr Pragya Sharma renowed Opthalmologist. Around 70 children were screened for need of spectacles and other paediatric ophthalmic disorders.
One child had cataract , 2 with squint , around 15 were prescribed glasses. All of them will be evaluated on OCT machine in BJRD Jain Hospital Ludhiana free of cost and if surgery is needed at present age, will be done free of cost. Also all spectacles will be provided free of cost to children.
Operation Channan will be organized in other orphanages also

Rotary Club Ludhiana Harmony hosted a workshop on Oct. 16th with students at GRD Academy under its signature project “Empowerment of the Youth" focusing on reducing stigma associated with mental health and raising awareness to seek help. Dr. Pragya Sharma, provided guidance to students to help overcome body shaming and to build self-esteem and self-love. Mrs Namitaraj Singh , Former Prinivipal KVM , presented practical steps to use positive affirmation to boost confidence and improve self image.

RC Ludhiana Harmony always supports good mental health for all especially for adolescents. Our club is running Mental Health Awareness month in collaboration with Heartfulness Meditation Centre. First session held at Govt. High Smart School , Jawadi Kalan on 6th October.
