Act Humane at WDRC 2026, Bali Indonesia

Ms. Harleen Kaur, Founder of Act Humane, participated in the 2-day 11th World Disability and Rehabilitation Conference 2026 held in Bali, Indonesia.

She shared insights on Implementation of Rights of Differently Abled Persons in India, highlighting disability rights, existing laws, the challenges faced by persons with disabilities, and the ground realities of implementation.

Through its continued work in the disability sector, Act Humane is committed to supporting persons with disabilities through disability certificates and pensions, monthly artificial limb camps, and initiatives that create employment opportunities.

While important progress is being made, there is still a need for greater awareness, accessibility, opportunities and continued support to ensure that disability rights reach every person and help them live with dignity, independence and equal opportunity.

Greener Cities, Healthier Communities

ACT Humane continues its journey towards a greener future with 2,000 trees planted at Palm Enclave, Bulara, along the Ludhiana–Doraha Highway.

With the support of local citizens and the Residents’ Association, we’re turning collective action into lasting green impact.

And this is just the beginning — 70,000+ plants planted over the last 4 years, and counting.
