On World Environment Day 2026, the Reviving Green Revolution Cell reaffirms its commitment to promoting agricultural practices that protect natural resources, strengthen climate resilience, and support the long term prosperity of farming communities.
Agriculture is deeply connected with nature. The choices made in our fields influence the health of our soil, the availability of water, the quality of our air, and the future of rural livelihoods.
Through close engagement with farmers and communities, RGR Cell promotes practical Climate Smart Practices, including:
💧 Alternate Wetting and Drying, to improve irrigation efficiency and conserve groundwater
🌾 Direct Seeded Rice, to reduce water consumption and dependence on labour intensive cultivation practices
🚜 Crop Residue Management, to encourage no burn agriculture, improve soil health, and reduce air pollution
🌳 Tree Plantation, to enhance biodiversity, strengthen local ecosystems, and contribute to climate resilience
📢 Farmer Capacity Building, through field demonstrations, village camps, community engagement, and technical guidance
Each field adopting water saving practices, each farmer choosing a no burn solution, and each tree planted is a step towards a more resilient agricultural landscape.
Climate action is not limited to a single day. It is built through sustained action, informed choices, and collective responsibility.

ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਫਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਕੈਂਪ 🌱

KVK ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ RGR Cell ਵੱਲੋਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਫਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਕੈਂਪ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਪਾਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ। 🌱

Experts shared valuable knowledge on dairy farming, animal care, and income generation opportunities.

🌾 RGR Cell in collaboration with TNC(The Nature Conservancy) ,under PRANA Project successfully organized a stakeholder workshop on Improved Rice Mangament at ATMA Office, Faridkot, bringing together agriculture officials, experts, NABARD representatives, and progressive farmers to discuss sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices.

The workshop highlighted the progress of DSR, AWD, and Crop Residue Management technologies, along with farmer awareness, training activities, and environmental initiatives being carried out across Punjab. Farmers also shared positive experiences regarding water saving, reduced labour costs, and improved crop management through climate-smart technologies. 🌱💧

ਆਰਜੀਆਰ ਸੈੱਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਟਾਲ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ, ਜੋ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਰਹੀ।

AWD ਤਕਨੀਕ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਕੈਲੰਡਰ ਤੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਵੀ ਵੰਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

🌾✨ Empowering Women Through Dairy Excellence 🐄🥛

Under the PRANA Project, RGR Cell successfully organized a specialized Women Training Programme on Dairy Farming for progressive women trainees—aimed at strengthening skills, boosting confidence, and creating new livelihood opportunities in the dairy sector.

To bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice, an exposure visit to the Punjab Dairy Development Board (PDDB), Moga was also arranged. The trainees gained hands-on insights into modern dairy practices, value addition, and the preparation of various dairy products—transforming knowledge into practical expertise.

This initiative is not just about training…
It’s about building self-reliance, encouraging entrepreneurship, and shaping women as leaders in sustainable agriculture and dairy development. 💪🌱

Because when women move forward,

ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ, ਆਰ ਜੀ ਆਰ ਸੈੱਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਫਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ—ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਆਤਮ-ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਬੋਰਡ (PDDB), ਮੋਗਾ ਦਾ ਐਕਸਪੋਜ਼ਰ ਦੌਰਾ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ, ਵੈਲਯੂ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਡੇਅਰੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
