Under the Blindness Control (DBCS) Program, the National Youth Foundation successfully conducted a series of free cataract surgeries aimed at restoring vision and improving the quality of life for the underprivileged.

Today, on the 111th Birth Anniversary of Late Laxmi Raman Acharya ji, we pay our heartfelt tribute to a distinguished Freedom Fighter, Statesman, and Jurist whose life was dedicated to the service of the nation and the upliftment of society.

A true patriot, Acharya ji played a vital role in India’s struggle for independence and later devoted himself to building a just and equitable society. His wisdom, integrity, and commitment to public welfare continue to inspire generations.

As we commemorate his remarkable legacy, let us rededicate ourselves to the ideals he lived by — truth, justice, and selfless service to humanity.

दिनांक 29 सितम्बर 2025, दिन सोमवार को कार्यालय आयुक्त चित्रकूट धाम, बांदा में Indraprastha Gas Limited एवं National Youth Foundation के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में “स्वस्थ कारवां मेडिकल मोबाइल यूनिट” का लोकार्पण माननीय आयुक्त श्री अजीत कुमार, श्री विशाल भाटिया (जी.ए. हेड, बांदा) एवं श्री विवेक दीक्षित (जीएम, IGL बांदा) द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर अतिरिक्त आयुक्त श्री अमरपाल सिंह एवं श्री भगवान सरन भी उपस्थित रहे।

इस निःशुल्क मोबाइल मेडिकल यूनिट का उद्देश्य बांदा एवं महोबा जनपद के दूरस्थ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में गरीब एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों को घर बैठे स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराना है। इस यूनिट के माध्यम से मधुमेह, ब्लड प्रेशर, आंख, मलेरिया, डेंगू, टायफाइड एवं अन्य सामान्य रोगों की जांच निःशुल्क होगी तथा दवाइयां भी उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी।

माननीय आयुक्त श्री अजीत कुमार ने इसे नेशनल यूथ फाउंडेशन का सराहनीय प्रयास बताते हुए आशा व्यक्त की कि हजारों लोग इस पहल से लाभान्वित होंगे। श्री विशाल भाटिया ने बताया कि यह कार्यक्रम एक वर्ष तक बांदा एवं महोबा जिलों में संचालित होगा।

The National Youth Foundation proudly announces the inauguration of the Laxmi Raman Acharya Memorial Health Center in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, established in loving memory of Late Shri Laxmi Raman Acharya, a respected Freedom Fighter, Jurist and Visionary Leader.

The Center aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services to underprivileged and marginalized communities. It will offer Dental, Eye, and General Health Care under one roof, with a focus on preventive health, early diagnosis, and compassionate care.

This initiative reflects our continuous commitment to serve society and uphold the values of equality, service, and social welfare.

The Center was inaugurated by Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi in august presence of Number of dignitaries including Senior IAS (R) Anis Ansari Ias, Dr. R.R Acharya and other. Shri Vibhuti Raman Acharya, General Secretary and Dr. Anamika Gupta, Director welcomed the Guests.

National Youth Foundation shall be launching new Mobile Healthcare Units (MHU) in partnership with Indraprastha Gas Limited in Mahoba & Banda Districts of Uttar Pradesh from 10th August, 2025 Onwards. The MHU shall provide vital primary healthcare services to Truck Drivers, disadvantaged elders and their community across both Mahoba & Banda Districts.

Each MHU shall have Doctor, Pharmacist, Optometrist, Nursing Staff and a Social Worker. The MHU also becomes an awareness generating sites, with the social worker empowering the Truck Drivers, disadvantaged elder with information on various diseases, along with educating them on the various preventive measures that can be taken to prevent the onset of any deadly disease.

National Youth Foundation with support from ICPRD, New Delhi and Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Smriti Samiti organized 2 Days "Mega Eye & General Health Camp" at Sanskrit Pathshala, Sadar, Lucknow. The Camp was inaugurated by Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Satish Mahana in august presence of Prof. Rita Bahuguna Joshi , Dr-Ammar Rizvi India, Former MLA Shri Suresh Tewari, Rajendra Sharma, Shri Rajeev Ranjan and other distinguished Guests. Shri Vibhuti Raman Acharya, General Secretary of NYF welcomed Guests and highlighted that the said Camp shall feature Consultation for various NCD's, Co-Morbidities and other diseases by Expert Physicians, Gynaecologist, Dentists and Optometerist alongwith provision for Screening for Cataract, Hemoglobin, ECG, RBS etc. Vision Glasses, Medicines & Sanitary Pads were also distributed at the Camp.
