Our team successfully executed an on-campus hemoglobin testing camp for Class 9 students. A parallel camp for Class 10 was strategically planned; however, pre-board examinations limited participation to ~50–55 girls. Despite the constraints, the initiative delivered measurable reach and impact. The school principal formally acknowledged and appreciated the NGO’s commitment to strengthening adolescent health through early screening and awareness.

Our team conducted a Health Awareness Session at Zilla Parishad (Z.P.) School, Maan Gaon.

The session focused on nutrition, anemia awareness, balanced diet, causes and symptoms of iron deficiency, and preventive measures, explained in a simple and child-friendly manner.

The session was conducted according to the students’ age group and was highly interactive, with active participation from the students.

The teachers and school authorities appreciated the initiative and supported the program.

Driving structured impact at scale, the BAF team visited Z.P. School, Maan Gaon, Pune to conduct an interactive student engagement session. With a total school strength of nearly 2,500 students (Classes 1–8), the session was strategically planned for Classes 5–8 to ensure focused delivery.

Despite space limitations, students were efficiently divided into two batches, enabling smooth ex*****on.

Building on last month's anemia awareness session, our team conducted a vital hemoglobin testing camp for girls in Class 5th to 8th. Early detection is key to a healthier future, and the support from the students and teachers was outstanding.

Post-screening, we provided immediate, nutritious intervention: rajgira-jaggery laddoos and bananas to every child. This is more than a test; it's a step toward improved health and learning outcomes.

Our team recently had a rewarding Anemia awareness session in New English School, Hinjewadi, for 250 bright young girls from classes 7, 8, and 9.
Prioritizing their comfort and privacy, the session was thoughtfully divided into two interactive parts: one for classes 7-8 and another for class 9. This approach allowed us to have a very open and interactive discussion on the causes, symptoms, and treatment of anemia.
We are proud to see the impact of our work in the Health and Education domains. The school teachers expressed their sincere gratitude towards our organization, reinforcing the value of these focused outreach programs.
