“With the company of those who are body minded, you forgot your own status. You are Atman. Not the flesh, not the bone, not the blood. Instead of speaking, “I am a donkey,” why not to speak, “I am a tiger”? Instead of speaking, “I am suffering, I am bound," why not to speak, “I am free. I cannot suffer”? What does it cost?“

“Whatever you think, you can't avoid name and form. And if you search someone without name and without form, this is going to be the most happy occasion in your life. You will recognise this moment; that it is you. Keep quiet. Do not think. Don't exert either. Don't stir a thought. Don't waver. Don't doubt about your majesty. Don't doubt. And you are This. So simple. Isn't it?”

The discourse of this satsang was used in the compilation ‘Return to Silence’ and this is the first time that the video is published in full.

Please tune in tomorrow, Thursday 30th of April, at 8.30PM India Standard Time (IST), for the premiere of Papaji’s Satsang from the 11th May 1993 titled ‘Refuse the mind’s guidance.’

”You have already tried running after the objects of senses, and you have tasted them very well, for millions of years. Those who are tired of tasting come to satsang to find something higher, which is peace, love, beauty, and eternal rest. So simple, just to keep quiet. Do not think. Don't make any effort. This is the right guidance. You are guided by your mind and you are guided by your senses. So this time refuse the mind: ‘I don't listen to you.’ That's all you have to do.“

“Lay down your ego and then speak. One single second of your life is needed. What's the trying? We have tried enough. Millions of years we have spent trying. And this is not the time to waste in trying. This is to immediately get it. Even trying is ego. How can you try without ego? Finish away your concept of trying, and all the concepts.
