Today, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, during the 134th episode of Mann Ki Baat, highlighted the successful rescue of a stranded Gangetic Dolphin in Uttar Pradesh and applauded the role of India's first Dolphin Rescue Ambulance, developed under the Namami Gange Programme.
This 42nd successful rescue operation, carried out jointly by TSA Foundation India and the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department, involved nearly 13 hours of dedicated effort to safely retrieve, medically examine, treat, and release the endangered Gangetic Dolphin back into the Rapti River.
We are deeply grateful for this recognition and extend our sincere thanks to the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for continuously championing biodiversity conservation and river rejuvenation.

This recognition also belongs to every field staff, veterinarian, rescue responder, researcher, volunteer, and conservation partner who work tirelessly with us to protect India's National Aquatic Animal and the rich biodiversity of our rivers.
As Hon'ble Prime Minister Ji aptly remarked, when we save the Gangetic Dolphin, we do not merely save a species, we help protect the entire river ecosystem and a priceless natural heritage for future generations.
Together, we remain committed to the conservation of the Gangetic Dolphin and the restoration of healthy, thriving river ecosystem.
