A Meaningful Initiative Towards Adolescent Girls’ Leadership, Social Awareness, and Perspective Building
Under an Exposure Visit organized by Initiative Foundation, adolescent girls participated in an educational visit to Awadh Peoples Forum, Faizabad in Ayodhya. The initiative aimed to familiarize participants with grassroots efforts advancing Social Justice, Gender Justice, Constitutional Values, and Democratic Rights.
During the program, the team at Awadh Peoples Forum Shared shared insights on community-based approaches, practical models of social intervention, and the importance of nurturing leadership among adolescent girls. Interactive sessions emphasized that leadership is not limited to responsibility alone, but also requires perspective building, sensitivity, and deeper social understanding.
An engaging interaction with the team of Prerna Kishori Vikas Kendra enabled participants to understand how consistent guidance, collective engagement, and awareness-building efforts gradually strengthen confidence and leadership abilities among girls.
During the field exposure, participants closely observed community meeting processes, issue identification mechanisms, dialogue practices, and solution-oriented approaches. This experiential learning broadened their social perspective and strengthened their sense of civic responsibility.
The exposure visit also included brief educational visits to historically and culturally significant sites in Ayodhya, enabling participants to appreciate regional heritage while further widening their social outlook.
Initiative Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to Afak Ji, Gufran Ji and the entire team of Awadh Peoples Forum for their support, guidance, and excellent coordination in making this program successful.
This initiative marks an important step toward nurturing informed leadership, social responsibility, gender equality, and constructive perspective-building among adolescent girls.
