🔴 Red Card to Child Labour!

On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour 2026, Initiative Foundation India organized a community dialogue, signature campaign, pledge ceremony, and awareness rally in Budheshwar, Lucknow under the theme "Empowered Childhood, Empowered Society."

The program focused on children's rights to education, protection, safety, and a dignified childhood, while participants collectively pledged to stand against child labour.

Initiative Foundation India organized a community awareness program at Gram Panchayat Bhawan, Dasdoi, Kakori, Lucknow on the theme:

“Menstruation: Not Shame, but a Right to Health, Dignity and Equality.”

Women, adolescent girls, youth, health workers and community leaders participated in the program. Through an awareness rally, poster exhibition, dialogue sessions, hygiene kits and sanitary pad distribution, discussions were held on breaking the silence, stigma, social taboos and gender discrimination related to menstruation.

Child Marriage Prevented in Lucknow Through Initiative Foundation’s Efforts!

26 April 2026, Lucknow: A proposed child marriage of a 14-year-old girl with a 35-year-old man in Gram Mawai Padiyana, Banthra area, was successfully prevented on 25 April 2026 due to the proactive efforts of Initiative Foundation India, timely coordination by the team, and prompt support from the administration.
