BALA Foundation is grateful to be a part of an event organised by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) named Shakti Utsav 2.0 — a joyful
celebration of women’s strength, creativity, and
culture under the spirit of Mission Shakti on 16th October 2025.

Selected NGOs were invited to showcase their work.

BBA University, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, recently organized an Orientation Week. The School of Media and Communication, Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, invited Ms. Nipurna Gupta, UNICEF a Communication Specialist, and Ms. Preeti M. Shah, a Communication and Development Professional (Secretary, BALA Foundation), to interact with undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Ms. Preeti M. Shah delivered a presentation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining ethics, staying well-read, and understanding basic human rights. She encouraged students to familiarize themselves with the constitution and amplify the voices of marginalized communities through their work. She also highlighted the diverse aspects of media beyond writing and storytelling, urging students to recognize their value and develop relevant skills.

The department head, Prof. Govind Ji Pandey, praised Ms. Shah's achievements in aero sports and requested the students to give her a standing ovation.

ISTRAC, Lucknow (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network) invited Preeti M. Shah to conduct an orientation session of their employees.
An interactive session on ‘Business Communication, Etiquette, Professional Conduct and Work-Life Balance’.
A well coordinated Role-play was presented with some humour by the participants. A thought provoking script for the role play was provided by Ms. Shah.

Preeti M. Shah ( ) was invited on the occasion of National Space Day 2025 at the Regional Science Centre, Lucknow ( ) to recite her poem ‘Chand Per Tiranga’, which was written on 23rd August 2023 when Chandrayaan-3 successfully soft landed on the Moon’s South Pole.

Later, she presented it to the Director of the Regional Science Centre, Lucknow.

G.M. ISRO, Lucknow along with his fellow scientist , attended the event as Chief guests.

Students of various schools were awarded for the quiz competition conducted by the RSCL.
